[0:11–0:16] VISUAL: ULTRA-FAST FIGHT SEQUENCE. Tom disarms Intruder 1 in one brutal motion, slams him into a cabinet — glass shatters (heavy VFX: glass fragments frozen mid-shatter for a beat, then continues). Spins to block Intruder 2's strike. INTRUDER 2 (stunned): "He's not just some—" TOM (cutting him off, throwing a strike): "Dad. I'm just a dad." SFX: cabinet shatter, bone-crack impact, grunts, glass rain. [0:16–0:20] VISUAL: Intruder 3 fires — Tom shoves a propane canister off the stove into the line of fire. MASSIVE VFX EXPLOSION rips through the kitchen, throwing Tom and Intruder 3 through the wall into the next room in slow motion, debris and fire everywhere. LILY (screaming): "DAD!" SFX: deafening explosion boom, wood splintering, ringing ears effect, fire crackle. [0:20–0:24] VISUAL: Smoke clears. Tom rises from the rubble, bruised, bleeding, breathing hard — but standing. Intruder 3 down. He staggers back toward the kitchen. TOM (hoarse, urgent): "Lily!" SFX: settling debris, low fire crackle, ringing fading into real sound. [0:24–0:28] VISUAL: Lily runs out from behind the counter, unharmed, and crashes into him, sobbing with relief. He drops to his knees, holding her tight. LILY (crying, muffled): "You said you were just a dad." TOM (voice breaking, holding her): "I am. That's exactly why." SFX: crackling fire in background, sirens approaching faintly, her sobbing quieting. [0:28–0:30] VISUAL: Wide shot — the wrecked, smoking kitchen behind them, red and blue emergency lights beginning to flicker through the broken windows. Hold on the embrace.
