Turn a Sketch or 3D Blockout into a Finished Image

VdoBloom Sketch to Render takes a rough drawing, a doodle, or a grey clay screenshot from Blender or any 3D tool and renders it as a finished image. It keeps the exact pose, body position, hand placement, composition and camera angle you drew, and adds materials, lighting and detail.

Describe what the finished picture should show, choose photoreal, illustration, anime or 3D render, and the output shape defaults to your sketch’s own proportions. It suits concept artists blocking out a shot, storyboard artists who want a polished frame, and anyone who can pose a figure faster than they can describe it.

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload your sketch or blockout

A pencil sketch, a phone photo of a doodle, or a 3D viewport screenshot all work.

  2. 2

    Describe the finished image

Say who or what it is, what they wear, the setting and the time of day.

  3. 3

    Pick a style and render

Choose photoreal, illustration, anime or 3D render, then download or animate the result.

Frequently asked questions

Does the render keep my exact pose?

Yes. The pose, body position, hand positions, composition and camera angle come from your sketch; only surfaces, materials, lighting and detail are added. Loose sketches work, but clear limbs and a readable silhouette give the most faithful result.

Can I use a 3D clay or Blender screenshot?

Yes. A grey untextured blockout is one of the best inputs, because the pose and perspective are already exact. Viewport grids and UI are removed in the render.

What styles can I render in?

Photoreal, polished digital illustration, anime, and high-end 3D render. The same sketch can be rendered in each style to compare looks.

Can I turn the render into a video?

Yes. Every result has an Animate button that opens it in image-to-video with the image already loaded as the first frame.
