AI Video Background Remover: Transparent, White, Black or Green Screen

Upload a clip and the AI separates the person or subject from everything behind it, frame by frame, with no green screen at the shoot. Choose what goes behind them: nothing at all (a transparent WEBM with an alpha channel), plain white, plain black, or a chroma-key green screen MP4 you can key in any editor.

Clips up to 30 seconds and 100 MB, any aspect ratio, and the output keeps the source length. It costs 4 credits per second of video, which is 20 credits for a 5-second clip. The exact price for your clip is shown before you confirm, and it is refunded automatically if the job fails.

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload your video

MP4, MOV or WEBM, up to 30 seconds. The price for that clip appears right away.

  2. 2

    Pick the new background

Transparent for overlays and web, green screen for keying, or plain white or black for product and portrait shots.

  3. 3

    Remove the background

Most clips finish in under a minute. Transparent results play over a checkerboard so you can check the edges.

  4. 4

    Download

WEBM with alpha for transparent output, MP4 for the colour backgrounds. Drop it into CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci or a web page.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a video with a transparent background?

Yes. Choose Transparent and you get a WEBM file with a real alpha channel, so the subject floats over whatever you put behind it in your editor or on a web page. Most modern editors and browsers read WEBM alpha directly.

Why would I pick green screen instead of transparent?

Some editors and phone apps cannot read alpha video. A green-screen MP4 works everywhere: apply a chroma-key effect and the green drops out. It is also the easiest format to share with someone else who will do the compositing.

How much does it cost?

4 credits per second of source video, with a minimum of 4. A 5-second clip is 20 credits and a 30-second clip is 120 credits. Credits are one-time and never expire, and there is no subscription.

What kind of footage works best?

A clear main subject, such as a person, a pet or a product, against a background that differs from them in colour or depth. Fast motion blur and very fine hair against a busy background are the hardest cases, and edges may look softer there.
