AI Morph Video Maker: Turn a Start and End Photo Into One Smooth Transformation
Keyframe Morph is VdoBloom's AI morph video maker. You give it a start photo and an end photo, and an AI video model generates the in-between: one continuous clip that opens exactly on your first photo and finishes exactly on your second. It is a photo morph done with first-and-last-frame video generation, so the change happens as real motion (light shifting, snow settling, fabric re-forming) rather than a flat cross-fade between two pictures.
Is it free to try? A new account gets 10 free credits, and the cheapest morph (Seedance 2 Mini at 480p, 4 seconds) costs 7 credits, so your first transformation can be free. The default setup, Seedance 2 Fast at 720p for 5 seconds, costs 50 credits per transition. There is no subscription requirement: a one-time Lite pack is 300 credits for $19.50, and one-time credits never expire. The exact total appears before you generate, and if any clip fails the whole charge is refunded.
It suits creators making transformation Reels and Shorts, real-estate and interior teams showing a before-and-after renovation, illustrators turning a sketch into a finished render, and anyone who wants a day-to-night or season-change shot of the same place. Chain mode strings up to six photos into one video, one smooth step at a time.

Keyframe Morph: a start photo morphs smoothly into the end photo
How it works
- 1
Pick a preset
Day → night, Season change, Age up, Outfit change, Sketch → render, Before → after renovation, or Custom, where you describe the change yourself in a sentence.
- 2
Add a start and an end photo
Upload two photos in order. The first photo sets the shape of the video and later photos are cropped to match it. Have only one photo? Most presets can create the end frame for you with an AI image edit (5 credits).
- 3
Or switch to chain mode
Add up to six photos in order and, if you like, a short caption for each step (for example "the walls get painted"). Each neighbouring pair becomes one transition.
- 4
Choose the camera, model and length
Auto keeps the camera locked unless your photos are framed differently, in which case it plans one smooth move between them. Then pick a model, a resolution and how long each transition lasts.
- 5
Check the price and generate
The credit total updates as you change settings. Transitions render in parallel, are stitched into one MP4 without repeated frames, and land in My Creations.
Why use this tool
Real first-and-last-frame morphing
Only models that accept a fixed start AND end frame are offered, so the clip begins and ends on your actual photos instead of drifting somewhere near them.
Six tuned transformation presets
Each preset carries a written motion brief (one continuous change, constant speed, no flashes or melting shapes) so you do not have to engineer the prompt.
AI end frame from one photo
Start from a single picture and let an image-edit model make the matching end state: the same scene at night, in snow, renovated, or the same person about 30 years older.
Chains of up to six photos
Morph through a sequence (a room in four stages, a city in four seasons) as one stitched video, with each step captioned separately.
Seven video models, one picker
Seedance 2 Mini, Seedance 2 Fast, Seedance 2, Seedance 2.5, Wan 3.0, Wan 2.7 and Kling 3.0, from quick 480p drafts to 1080p.
One charge, full refund on failure
You pay once for the whole job at the quoted price. If any transition fails, the full amount goes back to your balance.
What is an AI morph video?
Classic morphing warps one image into another by blending pixels between matched points. An AI morph video works differently: a video model is told what the first frame and the last frame must be, and it invents the frames in between as believable motion. That is why a day-to-night morph can show the sun going down and the lights switching on one by one, instead of two photos fading through each other.
The result is strongest when both photos share an anchor: the same camera position, the same subject in roughly the same place, the same overall layout. The more the two frames have in common, the more the model can spend on the change itself rather than on rebuilding the scene.
Which model should you use for a photo morph?
Every model below accepts both a start and an end frame. Prices are credits for one transition at the length and resolution shown; a two-photo morph is one transition, and a chain of N photos is N − 1 transitions.
| Model | Resolutions | Lengths (s) | 5 s at 720p | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seedance 2 Mini | 480p, 720p | 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 | 17 credits (8 at 480p) | Cheapest drafts and tests |
| Seedance 2 Fast (default) | 480p, 720p | 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 | 50 credits | Balanced default |
| Seedance 2 | 480p, 720p, 1080p | 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 | 82 credits (204 at 1080p) | Best motion, up to 1080p |
| Seedance 2.5 | 480p, 720p, 1080p | 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 | 126 credits (316 at 1080p) | Newest Seedance, 10-bit 1080p |
| Wan 3.0 | 480p, 720p, 1080p | 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 | 32 credits (64 at 1080p) | Low cost per second |
| Wan 2.7 | 720p, 1080p | 5, 10, 15 | 32 credits (48 at 1080p) | 720p/1080p at a fixed length |
| Kling 3.0 | 720p, 1080p | 3, 5, 8, 10, 15 | 28 credits (36 at 1080p) | Strict first and last frame |
How much does a morph video cost?
The price is the selected model's per-clip cost multiplied by the number of transitions. A few worked examples using the prices above:
- 10 free credits on sign-up cover one Seedance 2 Mini morph at 480p.
- The 300-credit Lite pack ($19.50 one-time) covers about 10 Kling 3.0 morphs at 720p, or 6 at the Seedance 2 Fast default.
- One-time pack credits never expire; subscription credits reset each billing cycle.
| Job | Setup | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| First free morph | 2 photos, Seedance 2 Mini, 480p, 4 s | 7 |
| Standard two-photo morph | 2 photos, Seedance 2 Fast, 720p, 5 s | 50 |
| Sharp 1080p morph | 2 photos, Kling 3.0, 1080p, 5 s | 36 |
| Four-season chain | 4 photos (3 transitions), Wan 3.0, 720p, 5 s | 96 |
| Six-photo chain | 6 photos (5 transitions), Seedance 2 Fast, 720p, 5 s | 250 |
| Single photo + AI end frame | End-frame edit (5) + Kling 3.0, 720p, 5 s (28) | 33 |
Popular morph ideas
Each of these maps to a preset, so the motion brief is already written for you.
- Day to night: a street, skyline or storefront fading through golden hour into a lit-up night.
- Season change: leaves turning and falling, then snow settling over the same garden or street.
- Age up: the same adult face maturing by about three decades, with pose and background held still.
- Outfit change: fabric rippling from the shoulders down into a second look while the person holds the pose.
- Sketch to render: colour, texture and light filling in a drawing until it becomes a photoreal render, with every line kept in place.
- Before and after renovation: a tired room rebuilt in place as a smooth time-lapse, for listings and portfolios.
- Custom: logo reveals, product colourways, a landscape changing between two worlds, or any A-to-B change you can describe.
Tips for a smooth morph
Most failed morphs come from photos that disagree about too much at once. These habits help:
- Shoot both photos from the same spot, or generate the end frame from the start photo so the composition matches exactly.
- Keep the subject in the same part of the frame in both photos.
- Change one thing per transition. For several changes, use chain mode and give each step its own caption.
- Leave the camera on Auto. It stays locked when the framing matches and plans a single smooth move when it does not.
- Draft on Seedance 2 Mini or Wan 3.0 at 480p, then re-run the version you like at 720p or 1080p.
- Longer transitions (8–10 seconds) give slow changes such as seasons or ageing room to breathe; short ones suit quick reveals.
What Keyframe Morph cannot do
Being clear about limits saves credits. The finished morph is a silent MP4, so add music afterwards in an editor or in VdoBloom's other tools. Photos must be between 2:5 and 5:2 in shape and up to 25 MB each, and every photo after the first is centre-cropped to the first one's size. A chain tops out at six photos. Uploads require you to confirm that everyone shown is an adult who agreed to it, which is why there is no baby-to-adult preset; for childhood photos, Revive Old Photos is the better fit.
Very different photos (a cat into a car, a close-up into a wide shot) can still work, but expect the model to improvise more in the middle frames. If the in-between looks wrong, add an intermediate photo in chain mode to guide it.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make an AI morph video from two photos?
Open Keyframe Morph, pick a preset, upload a start photo and an end photo, choose a model and length, and click generate. The AI creates one continuous clip that starts exactly on the first photo and ends exactly on the second, usually within a few minutes, and saves it to My Creations.
Is there a free AI morph video maker?
VdoBloom gives every new account 10 free credits. A two-photo morph on Seedance 2 Mini at 480p and 4 seconds costs 7 credits, so you can make your first morph without paying. After that, credits come from one-time packs that never expire or from a monthly plan.
Can I morph a photo if I only have one picture?
Yes. Upload one photo and, for presets such as Day → night, Season change, Age up, Outfit change, Sketch → render and Renovation, click Create end frame. An AI image edit (5 credits) makes the matching end state of the same scene, which you can tweak before generating the morph.
How many photos can I morph together?
Pair mode takes exactly two photos. Chain mode takes two to six photos in order and makes one transition between each neighbouring pair, then stitches them into a single video without repeating the shared frames.
What is the difference between a morph and a cross-fade?
A cross-fade blends two still images by changing their opacity. An AI morph generates new frames of motion between them, so the scene actually transforms: shadows move, snow builds up, fabric re-forms. Keyframe Morph's prompts specifically tell the model to avoid dissolves and flashes.
Which AI model is best for morphing photos?
Kling 3.0 runs in a strict first-and-last-frame mode and costs 28 credits for 5 seconds at 720p. Seedance 2 and 2.5 give the richest motion and go to 1080p. Seedance 2 Mini and Wan 3.0 are the cheapest for drafts. All seven offered models accept both a start and an end frame.
Can I make an age progression or face morph video?
The Age up preset shows the same adult growing about 30 years older in one smooth clip, with identity, pose and background held still. Upload only photos of yourself or of adults who agreed to it; child photos are not supported for morphing.
How long can a morph video be?
Each transition can run 3 to 15 seconds depending on the model. A six-photo chain has five transitions, so with 15-second steps the finished video can run past a minute.
Does the morph video have sound?
No. Keyframe Morph outputs a silent MP4 so the transitions join cleanly. Add music or a voiceover in your editor, or use VdoBloom's audio tools to make a track.
What happens if a morph fails?
You are charged once for the whole job at the quoted price. If any transition fails, for example because the model refuses an image, the entire amount is refunded to your balance automatically.
