AI Seamless Loop Video Maker: Perfect Loops From a Photo or a Clip
Seamless Loop is VdoBloom's AI seamless loop video maker: it produces a video whose last frame flows straight back into its first, so it can repeat forever without a visible jump. There are two ways in. From a photo, an AI video model animates your image with the same picture locked as both the first and the last frame, so the motion has to come home. From a video, any clip you upload (or one you already made on VdoBloom) has its ending blended into its beginning, with no AI generation involved.
Is it free? New accounts get 10 free credits. Looping an existing video costs a flat 10 credits, so your first loop from a clip is free. Animating a photo costs the chosen model's price for one clip: 28 credits for the default Kling 3.0 at 720p and 5 seconds, or 8 credits for a 5-second Seedance 2 Mini draft at 480p. A one-time Lite pack is 300 credits for $19.50, and one-time credits never expire. If a loop fails, the credits come back automatically.
It is made for live phone wallpapers, Spotify Canvas and other music canvases, silent website hero backgrounds, product loops for shop pages, and looping GIFs or animated WebPs for socials and email. Pick an output shape (original, 9:16, 16:9 or square) and add GIF or WebP exports alongside the MP4.

Seamless Loop: a clip that ends exactly where it starts and loops forever
How it works
- 1
Choose From a photo or From a video
Photo mode animates a still with AI. Video mode turns a clip you already have into a loop by blending its tail into its head.
- 2
Add your source
Upload a photo, or upload a video up to 200 MB, or pick one of your finished VdoBloom creations so you do not have to download and re-upload it.
- 3
Pick the motion (photo mode)
Living photo (breathing, a blink, hair stirring), Wind & water, Glow & light, Spotify Canvas, or Custom, where you describe the movement yourself.
- 4
Choose the shape and exports
Original shape, Music canvas 9:16 (up to 8 seconds), Phone wallpaper 9:16, Website hero 16:9 or Square 1:1. Tick GIF and/or animated WebP if you need them as well as the MP4.
- 5
Generate and download
Photo mode shows the model, length and resolution with the credit total; video mode lets you set the blend length. The finished loop appears in My Creations with each file ready to download.
Why use this tool
First frame = last frame by design
In photo mode the model is given your image as both the start and the end, and the duplicate final frame is trimmed so the repeat never stutters.
Automatic seam repair
Models sometimes land close to, but not exactly on, the start image. When the join is visibly off, the server blends the last half-second into the first so the loop still reads as continuous.
Loop any existing clip
Video mode cross-fades the ending into the beginning with a blend you can set from 0.3 to 1.5 seconds. No AI, a flat 10 credits.
Spotify Canvas preset
Turns album artwork into a subtle 9:16 canvas: drifting particles and light, a barely-there camera drift that returns to the start, lettering left untouched, no new objects.
MP4, GIF and animated WebP
Every loop is an MP4; add a GIF for chats and email or an animated WebP for lighter web pages.
Seven first-and-last-frame models
Kling 3.0 (default for loops), Seedance 2 Mini, Seedance 2 Fast, Seedance 2, Seedance 2.5, Wan 3.0 and Wan 2.7.
What makes a video loop seamless?
A loop looks seamless when two things are true at the restart point: the last frame matches the first, and the motion continues instead of snapping back. If either fails, viewers see a jump every few seconds, which is the giveaway of a lazy loop.
Photo mode handles the first condition by forcing the model to end on the exact image it started from, then checks the join and repairs it if needed. The second condition depends on the motion you ask for. Movements that naturally return to where they began (breathing, swaying, rippling water, flickering light, a gentle push-in that eases back) loop well. One-way events (a glass shattering, someone walking out of frame, a door opening onto a new room) do not, because the scene has nowhere believable to go back to.
Photo mode or video mode?
Both produce a loop; they suit different starting points.
| From a photo | From a video | |
|---|---|---|
| Input | One still image | An uploaded clip (up to 200 MB) or one of your creations |
| How the loop is made | AI video model with the same first and last frame, then seam check | Tail cross-faded into head with ffmpeg |
| Cost | The model's clip price (28 credits for Kling 3.0, 720p, 5 s) | 10 credits flat |
| Length | The model's clip length, up to 15 s (8 s for Music canvas) | Up to 15 s (8 s for Music canvas) |
| Sound | Silent | Keeps the source audio, except Music canvas |
| Best for | Living photos, wallpapers, canvases from artwork | Footage you already like that just needs to repeat |
Which model should you use for a photo loop?
All seven models accept a fixed first and last frame. Kling 3.0 is the default for loops because it runs in a strict first-and-last-frame mode. Prices are for one 5-second clip.
- 10 free credits cover one video-mode loop, or one 5-second Seedance 2 Mini photo loop at 480p.
- The 300-credit Lite pack ($19.50 one-time) covers 30 video-mode loops or about 10 Kling 3.0 photo loops at 720p.
- GIF and WebP exports are included in the price.
| Model | Resolutions | Lengths (s) | 5 s at 720p | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kling 3.0 (default) | 720p, 1080p | 3, 5, 8, 10, 15 | 28 credits (36 at 1080p) | Strict first and last frame |
| Seedance 2 Mini | 480p, 720p | 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 | 17 credits (8 at 480p) | Cheapest drafts |
| Seedance 2 Fast | 480p, 720p | 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 | 50 credits | Fast, balanced |
| Seedance 2 | 480p, 720p, 1080p | 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 | 82 credits (204 at 1080p) | Best motion |
| Seedance 2.5 | 480p, 720p, 1080p | 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 | 126 credits (316 at 1080p) | Newest Seedance |
| Wan 3.0 | 480p, 720p, 1080p | 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 | 32 credits (64 at 1080p) | Low cost per second |
| Wan 2.7 | 720p, 1080p | 5, 10, 15 | 32 credits (48 at 1080p) | Fixed lengths |
Pick the right output shape
The shape is applied with a centred crop before the loop is made, so the subject stays in the middle.
| Target | Shape | Max length | Use it for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Original shape | As uploaded | 15 s | Anything that keeps the source framing |
| Music canvas | 9:16 | 8 s | Spotify Canvas and similar looping visuals behind a track |
| Phone wallpaper | 9:16 | 15 s | Live wallpapers and lock screens |
| Website hero | 16:9 | 15 s | Silent background video behind a headline |
| Square | 1:1 | 15 s | Feed posts, product tiles, avatars |
Tips for loops that do not jump
A few choices make the difference between a loop people stare at and one they notice restarting:
- Choose motion with a natural return: breathing, swaying, ripples, flicker, drifting particles.
- Keep the camera still for your first attempt; a moving camera also has to return to its exact start.
- Use a photo with room for motion (hair, fabric, water, sky, light sources) rather than a flat, static scene.
- Short loops tend to hide the seam better than long ones, and Music canvas caps at 8 seconds anyway.
- For website heroes, keep motion slow and low-contrast so headline text stays readable on top.
- In video mode, raise the blend length if the start and end of your clip look very different; keep it short if they already match.
What Seamless Loop cannot do
Photo-mode loops are silent, and video mode drops the sound for the Music canvas target because canvases play over the track. Loops are capped at 15 seconds (8 for Music canvas). Video mode cannot invent motion: if the clip's start and end are completely different scenes, the cross-fade will be visible as a dissolve. Photo mode will not add text, and the Spotify Canvas preset is told to leave existing lettering still. Upload only images and footage you have the right to use, and confirm consent for anyone shown.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make a seamless loop video with AI?
Open Seamless Loop, choose From a photo, upload an image, pick a motion such as Living photo or Wind & water, choose a shape and model, and generate. The AI animates the photo with the same image as the first and last frame, trims the repeated frame and repairs any visible seam, so the MP4 repeats smoothly.
Can I turn an existing video into a seamless loop?
Yes. Choose From a video, upload a clip up to 200 MB or pick one of your VdoBloom creations, and set the blend length between 0.3 and 1.5 seconds. The ending is cross-faded into the beginning with no AI generation, for a flat 10 credits.
Is there a free seamless loop maker?
Every new VdoBloom account gets 10 free credits. That covers one loop from an existing video (10 credits) or one 5-second Seedance 2 Mini photo loop at 480p (8 credits). After that you can buy one-time credits that never expire.
How do I make a Spotify Canvas loop?
Upload your album artwork in photo mode and choose the Spotify Canvas motion. It locks the output to 9:16 and at most 8 seconds, adds subtle particle and light movement with a slight camera drift that returns to the start, and keeps the artwork's lettering and shapes unchanged.
Can I export a loop as a GIF?
Yes. Tick GIF, animated WebP or both before you generate. Every loop is also saved as an MP4, and the extra formats cost nothing more.
How do I make a live wallpaper from a photo?
Use photo mode with the Phone wallpaper target, which crops to 9:16. Living photo or Wind & water motions work well for portraits and landscapes. Download the MP4 and set it as a live or video wallpaper in your phone's settings or a wallpaper app.
Why does my AI loop jump at the end?
Usually the motion does not return to its start, or the model ended slightly off the first frame. Seamless Loop forces the same first and last frame and blends the join when it is visibly off. If a jump remains, choose a gentler motion, keep the camera still, or try Kling 3.0.
How long can a seamless loop be?
Up to 15 seconds, or 8 seconds for the Music canvas target. In photo mode the available lengths depend on the model, for example 3, 5, 8, 10 or 15 seconds on Kling 3.0.
Can I use a loop as a website background video?
Yes. Choose the Website hero 16:9 target. Photo-mode loops are silent, which suits autoplaying backgrounds, and an animated WebP export is available if you prefer an image format.
Does a seamless loop keep audio?
Loops made from a photo are silent. Loops made from a video keep the original sound, except on the Music canvas target, where audio is removed because canvases play over the song.
