Frequently asked questions
Does the dub stay in sync with my video?
Each translated line starts exactly where the original line started. Lines are written to fit their time slot; a line that runs slightly long is sped up a little (at most 30%), and a line that is still too long is shortened automatically before it is placed.
Do I keep my background music?
Yes. Your voice is separated from the rest of the audio, and the original soundtrack plays under the new voice, lowered only while someone is speaking.
Can it use my own voice?
Yes, on paid plans. You confirm that you are the speaker or have their permission; the voice is cloned from the video only for this dub and deleted right after.
How is it priced?
Voice separation and transcription are priced per minute of your video. The dub is priced per character of the translation, and lip sync per second of video. Each price is shown before that step, and a step that fails is refunded automatically.
