AI Product Listing Photos: An Amazon Listing Image Generator That Starts from One Photo
VdoBloom’s AI product listing photo tool turns one product photo into a full marketplace image set: a white-background main image, up to six secondary images (feature callouts, a dimensions spec sheet, a comparison chart, how-to-use steps, what’s in the box and a lifestyle scene) and, for Amazon, up to three A+ Content banners. Every image costs 5 credits, so a three-image starter set is 15 credits and the largest Amazon set of ten images is 50 credits.
Is it free? New accounts get 10 free credits, enough for two listing images to judge the quality. After that you buy credits as you go: the Lite pack is 300 credits for $19.50 as a one-time purchase, and one-time credits never expire. There is no subscription to cancel unless you choose a monthly plan. The tool is built for Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho and Shopify sellers, D2C brands and agencies who list products often and need a consistent set of images without booking a studio.
The main image follows the Amazon rules in its instructions and is then checked on the server: the background is normalised to pure white (#FFFFFF), the product fills at least 85% of the frame, and no text or props are added. The results panel shows those checks next to a before/after slider. Your product itself is kept exactly as photographed, including its shape, label and colours.

How it works
- 1
Upload one product photo
Any clear photo works, even a phone shot on a table. The tool rebuilds the main image on pure white, so the original background does not matter.
- 2
Pick the marketplace
Choose Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho or Shopify. The preset sets the square image size, how many images fit the listing and whether A+ banners are offered.
- 3
Add the title and bullet points
Paste your product title and up to six bullet points. The bullets are printed into the feature callouts, comparison chart and how-to images exactly as you type them.
- 4
Choose secondary images and A+ banners
Tick the secondary images you want (up to six) and, on Amazon, any of the three A+ banner sizes. Add dimensions or box contents if you picked those images. The credit total updates before you generate.
- 5
Generate and download the set
All images render in one run. Check the main-image compliance badges, review each image, then download them individually or as one ZIP named by marketplace and size.
Why use this tool
A main image that is checked, not just generated
Pure #FFFFFF edges and the product fill percentage are measured on the finished image and shown to you, so you know the main image is close to marketplace rules before you upload it.
Your exact bullet text in the infographics
Feature callouts, comparison rows and how-to captions use your own bullet points word for word, in large bold type that stays readable on a phone.
Marketplace-sized files
Square 2000×2000 px images for Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho, and 2048×2048 px for Shopify. A+ banners come out at 970×600, 970×300 or 1464×600.
Amazon A+ Content banners
Optional header and full-width banners for the product description area, with the headline taken from your first bullet and key content kept away from the edges that get trimmed.
Brand kit colours
Pick a saved brand kit and its accent colours are used across the callouts, charts and banners, so every listing in your store looks related.
The product stays the product
Every image is told to keep the product exactly as photographed, including packaging text. Only the background, layout and scene change.
What images are in an AI listing set?
A listing set always starts with the main image. Everything else is optional, so you only pay for the images your listing needs. All images render with GPT Image 2.5 at 2K from your one product photo.
| Image | What it shows | What you provide | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Main image | Product alone on pure white, centred, filling at least 85% of the frame, no text or props | Product photo | 5 |
| Feature callouts | Product with up to five labelled callouts and icons pointing to the matching parts | Bullet points | 5 |
| Dimensions / spec sheet | Front view on white with dimension lines and your measurements | Dimensions or specs | 5 |
| Comparison chart | Two columns, your product against a plain unbranded generic item, ticks and crosses per row | Bullet points | 5 |
| How to use | Up to three numbered steps showing hands using the product | Bullet points | 5 |
| What’s in the box | Top-down flat lay of exactly the items you list, each labelled | Box contents | 5 |
| Lifestyle | A customer using the product in a believable everyday setting, no text | Nothing extra | 5 |
| A+ header (Amazon) | 970×600 banner with the product and a short headline | First bullet or title | 5 |
| A+ full-width banner (Amazon) | 970×300 banner, content kept in the central band | First bullet or title | 5 |
| A+ Premium full-width (Amazon) | 1464×600 banner for Premium A+ layouts | First bullet or title | 5 |
Marketplace presets and image sizes
Each preset carries its own size and slot limit, taken from the seller guidelines of each marketplace. You can add up to six secondary images in one run on any preset; A+ banners are only offered on Amazon because they are an Amazon feature.
| Marketplace | Image size | Listing slots (main included) | A+ banners |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amazon | 2000×2000 px | 9 | Yes, up to 3 |
| Flipkart | 2000×2000 px | 8 | No |
| Meesho | 2000×2000 px | 7 | No |
| Shopify | 2048×2048 px | 10 | No |
How much does a listing set cost?
Pricing is flat: 5 credits per image, whichever marketplace or image type you choose. The total is shown on the button before you generate, and it is the amount charged.
- 10 free credits on sign-up cover two images.
- One-time pack credits never expire; monthly plan credits reset each billing cycle.
| Set | Images | Credits | Sets per 300-credit Lite pack |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter: main + feature callouts + lifestyle (the default) | 3 | 15 | 20 |
| Main + four secondary images | 5 | 25 | 12 |
| Full listing: main + six secondary images | 7 | 35 | 8 |
| Full Amazon listing with all three A+ banners | 10 | 50 | 6 |
Amazon main image rules the generator follows
Amazon’s product image requirements are strict for the first image in a listing, and an image that breaks them can be suppressed. The generator builds those rules into the main image and then measures the result.
Amazon also has category-specific style guides, and the rules change from time to time, so check your category in Seller Central before you upload. When you choose the Apparel category, an extra clothing rule is applied to the main image.
- Pure white background, RGB 255,255,255, normalised on the server after generation.
- The product fills at least 85% of the frame; the real fill percentage is shown on the result.
- No added text, logos, watermarks, badges or props on the main image.
- At least 1,000 px on the longest side enables zoom; the tool delivers 2,000 px.
- Text, infographics and scenes belong in the secondary images, which is where this tool puts them.
Are AI-generated listing images allowed on Amazon?
Amazon’s image rules are about accuracy: the main image has to show the actual product the buyer receives, on white, without extras. The listing tool is designed around that. It keeps your real product from the photo you upload and only changes the background, layout and surrounding scene.
Treat lifestyle scenes and comparison charts as marketing images and review them like any other creative. Make sure every callout is a claim you can support, check that the product in each image matches what you ship, and fix or regenerate any image where text came out wrong. Flipkart, Meesho and Shopify apply the same common-sense standard.
Tips for better listing photos
The quality of the set depends mostly on the photo and the bullets you give it. A few minutes of preparation saves regenerations.
- Shoot the product straight on in soft daylight, with the label facing the camera and nothing covering it.
- Keep bullets short and concrete, under about ten words each. Callouts use the first five bullets and the how-to image uses the first three.
- Write dimensions exactly as you want them printed, with units, for example "Height 10 cm, width 3.5 cm, 30 ml".
- List only what really ships in the box; the flat lay shows those items and nothing else.
- Pick the closest category (apparel, electronics, beauty, food, home or general) so scenes and props suit the product.
- Use a brand kit if you sell several products, so every listing shares the same accent colours.
Who uses an AI listing image generator?
Sellers launching a new product use it to get a complete image set on day one, before samples are back from a photographer. Indian marketplace sellers use the Flipkart and Meesho presets to meet those platforms’ square white-background expectations. Shopify store owners use it to make a catalogue look consistent when products were photographed at different times. Agencies use it to prepare a first draft of a client’s listing images in minutes and to refresh tired listings without a reshoot.
What the listing tool does not do
Knowing the limits helps you plan the rest of your listing work.
- One product per run. There is no bulk upload for many SKUs at once yet; run the tool once per product.
- Up to six secondary images per run, even on presets with more slots. Run it again for extra images.
- Images are still pictures. For a product video, use the Product 360 or AI product video tools linked below.
- Text inside infographics can occasionally contain a small error. Read every image before you publish and regenerate if needed.
- It does not write your title or bullets for you, and it does not check them against marketplace keyword or claim rules.
Frequently asked questions
What is an Amazon listing image generator?
An Amazon listing image generator is an AI tool that creates the images a product page needs from a product photo: a white-background main image plus secondary images such as infographics, spec sheets and lifestyle scenes. VdoBloom’s version also makes Amazon A+ banners and has presets for Flipkart, Meesho and Shopify.
Is the AI product listing photo tool free?
You can try it free: new accounts get 10 credits, which covers two listing images at 5 credits each. After that you buy credits, for example the Lite pack of 300 credits for $19.50 as a one-time purchase. One-time credits never expire and no subscription is required.
How much does a full listing set cost?
Each image is 5 credits. The default starter set (main image, feature callouts and lifestyle) is 15 credits, a full listing with six secondary images is 35 credits, and a full Amazon set with all three A+ banners is 50 credits. The exact total is shown before you generate.
Does it make a white-background main image that meets Amazon rules?
The main image is built to Amazon’s rules: pure white #FFFFFF background, the product filling at least 85% of the frame, and no text, logos or props. After generation the server normalises the white and measures the fill, and the result shows those checks. Always confirm your category’s style guide in Seller Central.
Will the AI change how my product looks?
It is instructed to keep the product exactly as photographed, including shape, colours and packaging text, and to change only the background, layout and scene. Review each image against the real product before publishing, and regenerate any image where a detail does not match.
Can I use it for Flipkart, Meesho and Shopify listings?
Yes. Pick the Flipkart, Meesho or Shopify preset and the images come out at that platform’s square size (2000×2000 px, or 2048×2048 px for Shopify) with the right number of listing slots. A+ banners are only offered on the Amazon preset.
What size are the images?
Main and secondary images are square: 2000×2000 px for Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho, and 2048×2048 px for Shopify. Amazon A+ banners are 970×600, 970×300 or 1464×600 px. Files download as JPG, named by marketplace, image type and size.
Can it create Amazon A+ Content images?
Yes, on the Amazon preset you can add up to three A+ banners: a 970×600 header, a 970×300 full-width banner and a 1464×600 Premium full-width image. Each shows your product in a styled scene with a short headline from your first bullet, and costs 5 credits.
What kind of photo should I upload?
A clear, well-lit photo of the product with the label visible. It does not need a white background or a studio: the tool rebuilds the main image on pure white. Avoid photos where hands, other products or heavy shadows cover part of the item.
Can I change the text in an image after it is made?
The text comes from your title, bullets, dimensions and box contents. To change it, edit those fields and generate again. For a small fix on one finished image, you can also open it in the AI Image Editor and describe the change.
