AI Product Photography: Turn One Product Photo into 24 Store-Ready Shots

VdoBloom AI product photography is an AI product photo generator that turns one photo of your product into a full set of e-commerce images: Amazon-style pure white backgrounds, lifestyle scenes, outdoor hero shots, dark luxury studio shots, festive Indian themes and seasonal campaign scenes. Pick up to six style packs, and each pack returns four shots, so one upload gives you up to 24 images.

Is it free? New accounts get 10 free credits. Photo packs cost 5 credits per image (20 credits per pack), the "Keep real product" mode costs 4 credits per photo, and you see the exact price next to the Generate button before anything runs. Paid credits start at 300 for $19.50 as a one-time pack that never expires, or $15 a month.

It is built for Amazon and Etsy sellers, Shopify and D2C brands, Instagram shops and agencies who need a consistent catalog without booking a studio. The product itself is identity-locked: shape, colors and packaging text are kept as photographed, and only the scene, surface and lighting around it change.

Examples

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload one product photo

A phone photo is fine. Put the product on a plain surface, light it evenly, fill most of the frame and keep the label sharp. You can also pick a product you saved to your library.

  2. 2

    Choose your style packs

Amazon White BG, Lifestyle Scene and Studio Drama are pre-selected. Add Outdoor Hero, Festive India or Seasonal Variant for campaigns. Each pack makes 4 shots at 5 credits each.

  3. 3

Pick the crop for where you sell

1:1 square for Amazon and Shopify listing slots, 4:5 portrait for the Instagram feed, 16:9 landscape for a website banner, or 3:4 portrait for a catalogue.

  4. 4

    Generate, check, download

All selected packs run in parallel. Open each shot full size, compare the label with your original, then download, save to your library or animate the shot into a video.

Why use this tool

  • Identity-locked product

Every prompt tells the model to keep the product’s shape, proportions, colors and packaging text exactly as photographed. Only the background, surface, props and lighting change.

  • Six style packs, 24 images

White background, lifestyle, outdoor hero, studio drama, festive India and seasonal packs cover a full listing gallery plus campaign creative from a single upload.

  • Keep real product mode

For Etsy, print-on-demand or any listing where every pixel must be real: the product is cut out and placed back untouched on an AI-generated scene, with a soft contact shadow, as a lossless PNG.

  • Product Re-angle

See the same product from another camera position: orbit left or right, eye level, high angle, top-down flat lay or low hero angle, at medium, close-up or wide distance.

  • Marketplace crops built in

Square, 4:5, 16:9 and 3:4 outputs match listing slots, social feeds, banners and catalogues, so you do not have to re-crop every image.

  • Automatic refunds

If some images in a pack fail, the credits for those images are refunded automatically, so you only pay for shots that were delivered.

What is AI product photography?

AI product photography uses an image model to place a real product into new scenes, light it and frame it, instead of setting up a studio, props and a photographer for every look. You supply a basic photo of the product; the AI generates the background, surface, shadows and styling around it.

There are two broad approaches. Generative scene tools redraw the whole image with the product kept as close as possible to the original. Composite tools cut the product out and only generate the background, so the product pixels are never redrawn. VdoBloom offers both: photo packs are generative and identity-locked, and Keep real product is a composite.

Which mode should I use, and what does it cost?

All three modes live on this page. Credit costs come straight from the price the tool charges and are shown before you generate.

The six style packs

Each pack is a fixed, tested prompt that already includes the product-preservation rules, so you do not need to write anything.

  • Amazon White BG: centered hero on pure white #FFFFFF with soft even light and a subtle contact shadow, the main-image format marketplaces expect.
  • Lifestyle Scene: the product on a wooden table, marble counter, Scandinavian shelf or in a hand at a café, in soft window light with shallow depth of field.
  • Outdoor Hero: beach, forest, flower garden or golden-hour rooftop backdrops for gear, beverages and travel products.
  • Studio Drama: a dark backdrop, one side key light, rim highlights and a mirror reflection for a premium, luxury look.
  • Festive India: Diwali diyas and marigolds, wedding decor with red velvet and gold, or Holi colour powders for seasonal D2C campaigns.
  • Seasonal Variant: winter holiday, summer beach, autumn leaves or spring florals for quarterly campaign refreshes.

Use cases

One upload covers the image types a typical product listing and launch need.

  • Marketplace main images on a pure white background, plus secondary lifestyle images for the gallery.
  • Shopify and D2C product pages that need a consistent look across a whole catalog.
  • Instagram feed posts and ads in 4:5, and website hero banners in 16:9.
  • Festival and seasonal campaigns without reshooting stock.
  • Etsy and print-on-demand listings where the print and colours must be exact (use Keep real product).
  • Extra angles of a product when you only have one photo (use Product Re-angle).

Tips for better AI product photos

The source photo decides most of the quality. The model keeps what it can see, so a sharp, evenly lit original produces sharp, accurate output.

  • Shoot in daylight or under two even lights; avoid hard glare across the label.
  • Fill about two-thirds of the frame with the product and keep it centered.
  • Use a plain background; clutter can be read as part of the product.
  • Keep small text large and in focus in the original. The smaller the print, the more likely it is to drift.
  • Shoot one product per photo. For bundles, photograph the set together as it will ship.
  • Before you list, read the packaging text on each generated image against your original, and regenerate any pack where a character shifted.

What AI product photography cannot do

Generative image models redraw the whole frame, so very small text, fine logos, barcodes and nutrition panels can come out slightly altered in photo-pack images. For anything where exact print matters, use Keep real product, which never redraws the product. Re-angle can only show what is plausibly visible from the new angle and is told not to invent new text or parts, but the hidden sides of a product are still a best guess.

The tool does not do batch uploads of a whole catalog in one run, and it does not change the product itself (colour variants, new packaging). Marketplace rules on secondary images and AI disclosure vary, so check the current rules of the marketplace you sell on before you upload.

From product photos to product videos and ads

Every result has an Animate button that sends the shot to image-to-video. For dedicated product motion, the video tools include a 360° turntable and a product demo, and the UGC ad tools build a creator-style ad from the same product photo.

Frequently asked questions

Is the AI product photo generator free?

New accounts get 10 free credits. A photo pack costs 20 credits (4 images at 5 credits each) and a Keep real product photo costs 4 credits, so the free credits cover two Keep real product photos or two re-angles on GPT Image 2.5. After that, credits start at 300 for $19.50 as a one-time pack that never expires, or $15 a month.

Will the AI change how my product looks?

Photo packs are identity-locked: each prompt tells the model to keep the product’s shape, proportions, colors and packaging text exactly as photographed and to change only the scene. Very small print can still drift, so check labels before listing. If every pixel must be real, use Keep real product, which places your original product pixels back on top of an AI-generated scene.

Can I keep the exact pixels of my product, for Etsy or print-on-demand?

Yes. Switch to Keep real product. The tool cuts your product out, generates only the background (marble countertop, wooden table, linen flat-lay, bathroom shelf, outdoor café, studio gradient, holiday, or a scene you describe in up to 500 characters), then places your original pixels back with a soft contact shadow. It costs 4 credits per photo and downloads as a lossless PNG.

Can I make Amazon white-background images?

Yes. The Amazon White BG pack places the product centered on a pure white #FFFFFF background with soft, even studio light and a subtle contact shadow, in the 1:1 square crop listing slots use. Check the current main-image rules of your marketplace before uploading.

How many product photos do I get from one upload?

Each style pack returns 4 images and there are six packs, so one upload gives up to 24 images. The default selection of three packs gives 12 images for 60 credits; all six packs give 24 images for 120 credits.

What kind of photo should I upload?

One product, centered, filling most of the frame, on a plain surface, evenly lit and in sharp focus, with the label readable. A phone photo works. Avoid busy backgrounds, heavy reflections and photos with several products unless they ship as a set.

Can I get my product from a different angle?

Yes. Switch to Re-angle and choose the camera orbit (front, left, right, back or 45°), the height (eye level, high, top-down or low) and the distance (medium, close-up or wide). It costs 5 credits on GPT Image 2.5 or 18 on Nano Banana Pro. Hidden sides are inferred, so check the result against the real product.

Who owns the AI product photos I make?

Under VdoBloom’s terms you keep ownership of the content you upload and generate, and you are responsible for it. Upload only products and photos you have the right to use.

What happens if a generation fails?

Credits for any image that fails are refunded automatically. If a whole pack fails, the full pack cost is returned, and the tool suggests trying a clearer photo with the product centered.

Can I turn the product photos into a video?

Yes. Every result has an Animate button that opens it in image-to-video. For a spinning turntable or a short product demo, use the Product 360 and Product Demo video tools.
