Use real feedback, and say the presenter is AI
A testimonial is only worth something because a real customer said it. This tool is built to put those real words on video when the customer can't or won't film themselves; it is not a way to invent reviews. Regulators treat made-up endorsements as deceptive advertising: the US FTC's rule on consumer reviews and testimonials, for example, prohibits reviews that misrepresent who gave them or whether they used the product, including AI-generated ones.
- Quote real feedback: a review, email, survey answer or message from an actual customer.
- Ask permission before quoting someone, and only use their name if they agree.

Turning a written review into a script
Reviews are written to be read, not spoken. A few light edits make them sound natural on camera without changing what the customer meant.
- Pick the most specific sentence: the problem before, the moment it helped, one concrete result.
- Cut to length: around 10 to 15 words for a 5-second clip, 30 to 40 for 15 seconds.
- Keep the customer's phrasing, including the informal bits; it is what makes it believable.
- Remove star counts, order numbers and anything personal the customer didn't agree to share.
- Read it aloud once. If you run out of breath, it is too long for one clip.
