AI Virtual Try-On and Outfit Changer: See Any Outfit on Yourself
VdoBloom AI virtual try-on is an AI outfit changer that puts a specific piece of clothing on you. Upload one photo of yourself and one image of the outfit (a store listing, a flat lay, a screenshot), and the AI generates realistic photos of you wearing that exact outfit, with your face, hair, skin tone and build kept the same.
Is it free? New accounts get 10 free credits, and each try-on look costs 5 credits, so the free credits cover two looks. The default three looks cost 15 credits and all six cost 30. The price is shown next to the Generate button before anything runs. Paid credits start at 300 for $19.50 as a one-time pack that never expires, or $15 a month.
Each look renders the outfit in a different setting: Studio Catalog, Street Style, Lifestyle Outdoor, Evening / Party, Mirror Selfie and Editorial Fashion. It is for shoppers checking an outfit before they buy, creators making outfit content, and small clothing brands who need on-model shots without a photoshoot.

Make this with my photo
How it works
- 1
Upload your photo
A full-body or three-quarter photo, standing, with the area the garment covers visible. Even light, plain background, only one person in frame. You must be an adult or have the adult’s consent.
- 2
Upload the outfit image
A flat lay, a hanger shot or an on-model product photo from a store. The cleaner and more front-on the garment, the more accurately its print, neckline and hemline carry over.
- 3
Pick your looks and crop
Studio Catalog, Street Style and Mirror Selfie are pre-selected; add Lifestyle Outdoor, Evening / Party or Editorial Fashion. Choose 4:5 feed, 9:16 Reels, 3:4 catalog or 1:1 square.
- 4
Generate and download
Each selected look returns one image at 5 credits. Open it full size, download it, save it to your library or press Animate to turn it into a short video.
Why use this tool
Your face and body stay yours
The prompt locks the person from your photo: face, identity, hair, skin tone and body proportions stay the same, so the result shows you, not a generic model.
The outfit stays that outfit
The garment’s design, colors, patterns, fabric texture, neckline, sleeves and hemline are kept, and the AI fits it to your body instead of redesigning it.
Six settings per outfit
See the same clothes as a white-background catalog shot, a street-style candid, a golden-hour outdoor look, a party look, a mirror selfie and a magazine-style editorial.
Crops for where you post
4:5 for the Instagram feed, 9:16 for Reels and Stories, 3:4 for a catalog and 1:1 for a profile or listing.
Reuse your saved photos
Pick yourself or a saved character from your library for the person, and a saved product or style image for the outfit, instead of uploading again.
From photo to video
Every result has an Animate button that opens it in image-to-video, so a try-on shot can become an outfit reveal or a walking clip.
What is an AI virtual try-on?
An AI virtual try-on generates a photo of a real person wearing a real garment they have never put on. Instead of an AR filter that overlays a 3D model on a live camera, an image model reads both photos, works out the person’s pose and body shape, and redraws the garment on them with matching drape, folds and lighting.
On VdoBloom it takes two inputs, a person photo and an outfit photo, and returns finished images in the settings you choose. The tool is marked Beta: it runs on a general image-edit model (Nano Banana Edit) given strict instructions to keep both the person and the garment, and results depend heavily on how clear both photos are.
Using it as an AI outfit changer
If you searched for an outfit changer, this is the page that swaps the clothes in your photo for a specific outfit you can see. Upload your photo, upload a picture of the outfit you want, and every look shows you wearing it. It works with tops, shirts, dresses, jackets, co-ord sets and full outfits, as long as the garment is clearly visible in the outfit image.
Pick the setting the outfit will be worn in. Studio Catalog gives a clean white background; the other looks place you in a new scene, so the original background of your photo is replaced. To change clothes from a written description instead of an outfit image, or to keep your original background, describe the change in the AI Image Editor. To change an outfit in motion, use the Outfit Reveal video tool.

The six try-on looks
Each look is a fixed prompt that already includes the person and outfit preservation rules. Only the background, lighting and pose change between them.
| Look | Setting | Good for | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Studio Catalog | White seamless background, e-commerce model pose | Product listings, fit check | 5 |
| Street Style | Urban candid, walking pose, blurred city | Instagram, outfit-of-the-day | 5 |
| Lifestyle Outdoor | Beach, garden or sunset rooftop | Holiday and summer wear | 5 |
| Evening / Party | Rooftop bar, restaurant or club, warm light | Occasion and party wear | 5 |
| Mirror Selfie | Full-length mirror, phone in hand | Casual social posts | 5 |
| Editorial Fashion | Dramatic light, moody backdrop | Lookbooks, brand creative | 5 |
How much does AI try-on cost?
Every look is one image at 5 credits. A Lite pack of 300 credits costs $19.50 once and never expires.
| What you generate | Images | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| One look (e.g. Studio Catalog) | 1 | 5 |
| Default three looks | 3 | 15 |
| All six looks for one outfit | 6 | 30 |
| Ten outfits, default three looks each | 30 | 150 |
| Everything a Lite pack covers | 60 | 300 |
Who uses AI virtual try-on
The same two-photo workflow serves very different jobs.
- Shoppers checking how an outfit from an online store looks on their own body before buying.
- Content creators producing outfit-of-the-day, styling and haul posts without changing clothes for every shot.
- Small clothing and D2C brands making on-model images from a flat-lay or hanger photo.
- Brand collaborations: previewing how a partner’s garment would look on the creator before the shoot.
- Event planning: seeing a wedding, party or interview outfit in a matching setting.

Tips for a more accurate try-on
The model can only keep what it can see. These rules come from what makes the person and the garment readable.
- Person photo: one person, standing upright, facing the camera, arms away from the body, face visible.
- Match the framing to the garment: upper-body is enough for tops, but use a full-body photo for dresses, trousers and full outfits.
- Wear fitted, simple clothes in your own photo; bulky coats hide the body shape the new garment has to follow.
- Outfit photo: a single garment or one outfit, fully visible, front-on, flat or on a hanger, on a plain background.
- Avoid outfit images with folds, hands, watermarks or other items covering the garment.
- Use sharp, well-lit photos of both; small logos and printed text are the details most likely to change.
Limits: what AI try-on cannot tell you
A try-on image is a visual preview, not a fitting. It does not know the garment’s size chart, stretch or exact cut, so it cannot tell you whether a size will fit, and colors can shift with the lighting of the chosen scene. Fine details such as small logos, printed text and intricate embroidery may come out slightly different from the product.
It dresses one person in one outfit per run; it does not combine separate top, bottom and shoe images into one outfit, and it does not offer a live camera or AR mode. Uploads and results follow VdoBloom’s content policy: upload only photos of adults who have consented, and only images you have the right to use.

Frequently asked questions
Is AI virtual try-on free?
New accounts get 10 free credits and each try-on look costs 5 credits, so you can make two try-on images free. After that, credits start at 300 for $19.50 as a one-time pack that never expires, or $15 a month. The exact cost is shown before you generate.
How does the AI outfit changer work?
You upload two images: one of yourself and one of the outfit. The AI keeps your face, hair, skin tone and body proportions, keeps the outfit’s design, colors, pattern and fabric, fits the garment to your body and renders the result in the settings you picked, such as studio, street or mirror selfie.
Can I change clothes in a photo by describing them in words?
The try-on tool needs an image of the outfit. To describe the clothes in text instead (for example "a navy linen suit"), or to keep your photo’s original background, use the AI Image Editor and describe the change.
Where can the outfit image come from?
Any clear image of the garment: an online store product photo, a lookbook page, a social media screenshot, or a photo of it on a hanger or laid flat. Front-on images that show the whole garment without folds or hands in the way give the most accurate results.
Does it work for dresses, jackets and full outfits?
Yes, as long as the garment is fully visible in the outfit image and your own photo shows the part of the body it covers. Use a full-body person photo for dresses, trousers and full outfits; an upper-body photo is enough for tops and jackets.
Will the try-on show me how a size fits?
No. The image shows how the style, color and silhouette look on you, but the AI does not know the garment’s size chart or stretch. Use the brand’s size guide for fit.
Does it keep my face and body?
Yes, that is the main instruction the model is given: face, identity, hair, skin tone and body proportions from your photo must stay the same. Clear, well-lit photos with your face visible give the most faithful results. The tool is in Beta, so regenerate a look if anything drifts.
Can clothing brands use it for product images?
Yes. The Studio Catalog look puts the garment on a person against a white background in a catalog pose, and the other looks give lifestyle and social shots. Under VdoBloom’s terms you keep ownership of the content you generate; only use model photos of adults who have agreed to it.
Can I turn the try-on photo into a video?
Yes. Press Animate on any result to open it in image-to-video. The Outfit Reveal and Fashion Walk video tools are built for fashion motion clips.
Whose photos can I upload?
Your own, or photos of adults who have given you their consent. Uploads and results follow VdoBloom’s content policy, and the tool asks you to confirm consent before uploading.
