AI Ad Localization: Translate Ad Creatives Without Rebuilding Them

The VdoBloom Ad Localizer translates a finished static ad image into other languages in place. You upload the ad with its text already on it, pick up to 8 target languages, and get back the same design with only the words changed: layout, product, colours, type feel and prices stay as they were.

Every translated version is read back by an AI checker for misspelt or broken letters and for prices or offers that changed. A version that fails is redone once with the errors fed back; if it fails again it is not delivered and that language is refunded.

Is it free? No, but it is priced per language: 10 credits for most languages and 18 credits for Bengali, Marathi and Japanese, which use a stronger image engine for those scripts. New accounts get 10 free credits, enough to localize one ad into one 10-credit language. The Lite pack is 300 credits for $19.50, and one-time credits never expire. It is built for brands and agencies running the same ad in several markets, such as India, the Gulf, Latin America and Europe.

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload the finished ad

Any static ad image with its text on it: a feed post, a story, a banner. Ads made in VdoBloom can be sent straight from My Ads with the Localize button.

  2. 2

    Pick up to 8 languages

Each language shows its credit price. The running total appears before you start.

  3. 3

Optionally set a local price or offer

Type a price or offer per market, such as "AED 49" or "30% OFF". Leave it empty and every number, price and currency symbol stays exactly as in your source ad.

  4. 4

Localize and let the checker review

Each language is rendered, then checked for broken script and changed prices. Failed versions are retried once, then refunded if they still fail.

  5. 5

    Download

Download each version or use Download all for a zip. Each result notes that its text and prices were checked, and whether it passed on the retry.

Why use this tool

  • Design stays, words change

The ad is edited in place rather than regenerated from scratch, so composition, product, colours and button positions match the original.

  • Quality check on every version

A vision model compares each output with the source: garbled letters, misspellings and altered prices or offers send it back for one retry.

  • Pay only for versions that pass

A language whose output fails the check twice is not delivered and its credits are refunded.

  • Indian, Gulf, Latin American, European and Asian languages

Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Indonesian, Japanese and English.

  • Local prices per market

Swap in a local currency or a market-specific offer for each language, or keep the source numbers untouched.

  • Market-aware wording

Each language has its own style guidance: everyday spoken Hindi rather than formal Hindi, Latin American Spanish with tú, Brazilian Portuguese with você, German with du, Gulf-suitable Modern Standard Arabic.

Which languages does the Ad Localizer support, and what do they cost?

Every language is routed to the image engine that renders its script cleanly. That engine sets the price.

  • 10-credit languages render with GPT Image 2.5 Flare; Bengali, Marathi and Japanese use Nano Banana Pro.
  • Bengali and Marathi versions may use native digits; the checker treats them as the same number.
  • Arabic versions mirror the text alignment for right-to-left reading.

Use cases for ad translation

The same finished creative, shown to each audience in its own language.

  • Indian brands running one campaign across Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali and Marathi audiences.
  • Sellers expanding from India to the Gulf with Arabic versions priced in local currency.
  • Stores testing Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese before a launch.
  • Agencies delivering a multi-market set from one approved master ad.
  • Teams supplying per-language images for a single multi-language ad on Meta.

Why not just translate the copy and rebuild the ad?

Rebuilding an ad per language means re-typesetting every headline, re-checking fonts for each script and re-exporting every file. Plain machine translation of the text also leaves you to fix layout, line breaks and right-to-left alignment yourself.

The Ad Localizer replaces the text inside the image itself, so the translated words sit where the originals were, in a matching style. The checker then catches the problem image models are known for in non-Latin scripts: letters that look right at a glance but are misspelt or broken.

What the quality check looks for

Before any version reaches you, an AI reviewer reads it against the source ad and the target language.

  • Misspelt words, smudged or broken letters and garbled script.
  • Prices, discounts, numbers and currency symbols that differ from the source, or from the local price you entered.
  • Offers or claims that were added or dropped.
  • On a failure, the errors are fed back into one retry; a second failure means no delivery and a refund for that language.

Tips for ads that localize cleanly

Source quality decides how often a language passes on the first try.

  • Use a high-resolution source with large, legible text. Tiny legal lines are the most likely to fail.
  • Leave some breathing room around headlines. German, French and Tamil often run longer than English.
  • Keep the number of separate text blocks modest; a headline, a subline, a price and a button localize most reliably.
  • Enter local prices only where the offer really differs by market; otherwise leave the field empty so the source numbers are kept exactly.
  • Have a native speaker glance at the final versions before spending on media, especially for regulated claims.
  • After localizing, use the Ad Resize Pack to make Stories and square versions of each language.

Limits

The Ad Localizer is for static images.

  • It translates the text inside one finished image; it does not translate video ads or add voice-over.
  • Up to 8 languages per ad in a run, and 6 runs per 10 minutes per account.
  • If too many languages fail the check in one day (16 refunded failures), the tool pauses for you until the next day. A clearer source ad with larger text usually passes.
  • It does not change the people, products or scenes in the ad, only the words and, if you ask, the price or offer.

Frequently asked questions

How do I translate an ad image into another language with AI?

Upload the finished ad to the VdoBloom Ad Localizer, pick the target languages and start. The AI replaces the text inside the image in place, keeps the layout and prices, and checks each version for broken letters and changed numbers before delivering it.

Does the layout stay the same after translation?

Yes. Only the text changes: product, colours, composition and button positions stay as in the source. Arabic versions mirror text alignment for right-to-left reading.

How much does AI ad localization cost?

10 credits per language for English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Indonesian, and 18 credits for Bengali, Marathi and Japanese. Three 10-credit languages cost 30 credits.

Is the Ad Localizer free?

There is no free tier for this tool, but the 10 free credits every new account gets cover one 10-credit language. Languages that fail the quality check twice are refunded.

Will my prices and offers change?

Not unless you ask. With the local price field empty, every number, price and currency symbol is kept exactly as in the source, and the checker rejects versions where they changed. You can type a local price or offer per language, such as AED 49.

Which Indian languages are supported?

Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali and Marathi, each written in everyday retail language for its region rather than formal register.

How many languages can I translate one ad into?

Up to 8 per run, from 14 supported languages. For all 14, run the ad twice.

What if a translation comes out with broken text?

Each version is checked by an AI reviewer. If it finds misspelt or garbled letters or a changed price, the version is redone once with those errors as instructions. If it fails again, it is not delivered and the credits for that language are refunded.

Can I localize ads I made in another tool?

Yes. Any static ad image you have the rights to can be uploaded. Ads made in VdoBloom can also be sent from My Ads with one click.

Can it translate video ads?

No, the Ad Localizer works on static images only. For a video version of a localized ad, press Animate on the result to turn it into a short clip.
