AI Christmas Photo Generator: Your Photo in a Festive Scene

The VdoBloom AI Christmas photo generator turns one photo into a holiday picture while keeping every face in it recognizable. Upload a photo of yourself, a couple, a group of adults or a pet, choose one of 18 festive presets (a cozy living room with a tree, a snowy cabin, a photo with Santa, an ugly sweater, matching pajamas, a North Pole elf, a Christmas card portrait and more) and the AI rebuilds the setting, outfits, props and lighting around you.

Is it free? New accounts get 10 free credits and one Christmas photo costs 5 credits on GPT Image 2.5, so you can make two before paying. Nano Banana Pro is the alternative model at 18 credits. It is for holiday cards, profile pictures, family group chats, social posts and anyone who wants a festive photo without a studio shoot.

How it works

A clear, well-lit photo of one person, a couple, a group of adults or a pet. Tick the box confirming everyone in it is an adult and agreed to the edit.

  2. 2

    Pick a Christmas preset

Choose from 18 scenes, from Cozy Christmas Living Room to Miniature Christmas Town. Press Surprise me if you want the tool to pick one.

  3. 3

    Choose the model

GPT Image 2.5 costs 5 credits per photo; Nano Banana Pro costs 18. The price shows on the button before you create.

  4. 4

    Create your Christmas photo

The AI renders a 3:4 portrait at 2K, usually in under two minutes. Failed runs are refunded automatically.

  5. 5

    Download, upscale or animate

Save the image for a card or post, upscale it for printing, or press Animate to make a short Christmas video from it.

Why use this tool

  • Every face kept

The scene is told to keep the face and identity of every person and pet in your photo, with the same features, skin tone, fur and age.

  • 18 festive presets

Indoor, outdoor, Santa, costume, card, pet, couple, party and miniature scenes, each written as a full photo setup rather than a sticker overlay.

  • Works for groups and pets

Matching Pajamas Family seats everyone from the photo on one sofa, Christmas Couple is made for two, and Pet in Santa Hat is made for dogs and cats.

  • Background-only option

Christmas Background keeps you exactly as you are (same pose, clothes, expression and light) and swaps only the room behind you.

  • Card-ready format

Portrait 3:4 at 2K suits phone screens and printed cards. The Christmas Card Portrait preset frames you like a greeting card.

  • Upscale and animate

Each result has an Upscale button for a bigger print file and an Animate button that opens image-to-video.

Is the AI Christmas photo generator free?

You can start free. Every new account gets 10 free credits, enough for two Christmas photos on GPT Image 2.5 at 5 credits each. After that, each photo costs credits, with no subscription required.

The Lite pack is 300 credits for $19.50 one-time, or $15 a month on a plan. That is 60 Christmas photos on GPT Image 2.5 or 16 on Nano Banana Pro. One-time pack credits never expire, so they last into next season; plan credits reset each billing cycle.

Which model should I use for a Christmas photo?

Tips for natural-looking AI Christmas photos

A good source photo matters more than anything else.

  • Use a sharp photo with faces turned toward the camera and even light. Sunglasses, hats and strong shadows make faces harder to keep.
  • Match the preset to the photo: one person for solo scenes, two people for Christmas Couple, a group for Matching Pajamas Family, a pet for Pet in Santa Hat.
  • For group presets, everyone should be clearly visible in one photo. The tool takes a single upload, so people in separate photos need to be combined first.
  • Want to keep your real outfit and pose? Use Christmas Background, which changes only the room behind you.
  • If a result is close but not right, run it again or switch models. Each run is a fresh render.
  • For printed cards, upscale the final image before you order prints.

Christmas cards, videos and more

A Christmas photo is often the first step. Press Animate on a result to bring it into image-to-video, or browse the seasonal tools for cards, Santa photos and festive videos built around the same idea.

Ways to use your AI Christmas photo

The result is a normal image file you can use anywhere.

  • Printed or digital holiday cards
  • A festive profile picture for December
  • A family or friends group-chat greeting
  • Instagram, Facebook and TikTok holiday posts
  • A pet Christmas photo for gifts, mugs or calendars
  • A short animated Christmas greeting made with Animate

What the Christmas photo tool can’t do

Check these before spending credits.

  • It takes one photo per run and returns one 3:4 image. There is no batch mode or other aspect ratio.
  • Everyone in the photo must be an adult (18+). Photos with children are not allowed in this tool.
  • It does not merge people from separate photos into one scene. For two people from two photos, use Polaroid Memories.
  • There is no free-text box to describe your own scene; use the AI Image Editor for that.
  • No text is added to the image. Add greetings or names afterwards in a card or poster tool.
  • Small details such as jewelry, hair or a pet’s markings can still shift. Run again or switch models if they do.

Your photo, your consent

Before uploading, you confirm everyone in the photo is an adult and that you have the right and consent to use the image. Never upload celebrities, public figures or minors. Uploads go through content moderation, and every finished image is saved to My Creations in your account.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make an AI Christmas photo from my own picture?

Open the VdoBloom AI Christmas photo tool, upload a clear photo, choose one of 18 presets such as Cozy Christmas Living Room or Snowy Cabin, pick a model and press Create. The AI returns a 3:4 festive portrait that keeps every face in the photo, usually in under two minutes.

Is the AI Christmas photo generator free?

You can try it free. New accounts get 10 free credits and a Christmas photo costs 5 credits on GPT Image 2.5, so the free credits cover two photos. Nano Banana Pro costs 18 credits per photo. More photos use credits from a one-time pack or a plan.

Can I make a Christmas photo with Santa?

Yes. Photo with Santa places Santa in his red suit beside you with an arm around your shoulder in a warmly lit room. Santa Yourself turns you into Santa with the suit and beard while keeping your face, and Santa Hat simply adds a classic hat.

Can I make a family Christmas photo in matching pajamas?

Yes, from one group photo of adults. Matching Pajamas Family dresses everyone in the photo in red-and-white striped pajamas on a sofa by the tree. Everyone must be visible in the uploaded photo and must be an adult.

Can I make a Christmas photo of my dog or cat?

Yes. Pet in Santa Hat puts your pet in a tiny Santa hat and red collar in front of a lit tree, and the tool is told to keep your pet’s face and fur as they are. Pet Portraits has more pet styles.

Can I keep my outfit and only change the background to Christmas?

Yes. The Christmas Background preset keeps you exactly as you are, with the same pose, clothes, expression and lighting, and swaps only the room behind you for a decorated tree, fairy lights and a fireplace.

Will the AI change my face?

Every preset tells the AI to keep the face and identity of each person and pet with the same features, skin tone, fur and age, so everyone stays recognizable. Start from a sharp, front-facing photo in good light.

Can I use AI Christmas photos for holiday cards?

Yes. Download the image and use it in any card service. The Christmas Card Portrait preset is framed like a greeting card, and the Upscale button makes a larger file for printing.

Can I add children to the Christmas photo?

No. The upload box asks you to confirm everyone in the photo is an adult, and photos of minors are not allowed. Couples, groups of adults and pets all work.

Can I turn my Christmas photo into a video?

Yes. Press Animate on the result to open image-to-video with the photo loaded. The video is priced separately by the video model you pick.
