AI Future Baby Video for a Baby Shower Surprise

Make an AI future baby video from two parent photos and stage it as a baby shower reveal: TV loop, title card, printed still. Credits and tips.

By VdoBloom Team

To make an AI future baby video for a baby shower, upload one clear photo of each parent to VdoBloom's Future Baby Video tool. It returns a 5-second clip of the two of you on a sofa holding a laughing baby that mixes your features. The default model, Seedance 2 Fast, costs 50 credits at 720p, and Seedance 2 Mini costs 17. The tab opens in vertical 9:16; switch to 16:9 for a TV. It is a party surprise, not a prediction: real genetics do not work like a prompt.

Quick facts

  • Input: two photos, one of each parent. Both are required.
  • Output: a short MP4 of both parents with a baby about one year old, about 5 seconds long.
  • Models: Seedance 2 Fast (default), Seedance 2 Mini or Seedance 2.
  • Credits, 5 s at 720p: Seedance 2 Mini 17, Seedance 2 Fast 50, Seedance 2 82. At 480p, Mini is 8 and Fast is 24.
  • Free credits: 10 on signup. That covers a 480p Seedance 2 Mini test (8 credits), with a watermark.
  • Payment: one-time packs that never expire, from ₹299 for 75 credits in India or $10.39 for 200 credits in USD.
  • Not included: sound, a gender reveal, or any real prediction of how a baby will look.

How to make the future baby video

  1. Pick two good photos. One per parent, front-facing, in even light, with the face sharp and large in the frame. No sunglasses, hats or heavy filters. Similar light in both photos gives a more natural result.
  2. Open Future Baby Video and upload Parent 1 and Parent 2.
  3. Pick the size. Keep 9:16 for phones and Instagram stories. Choose 16:9 if the clip will play on a TV or projector at the party.
  4. Pick the model. Run a cheap draft on Seedance 2 Mini first. When the faces look right, render the final on Seedance 2 Fast or Seedance 2.
  5. Generate. The clip lands in My Creations in a few minutes. If a render fails, the credits are refunded.
  6. Re-run once if a face drifts. Use a sharper photo or a more front-on angle rather than retrying the same input.

The built-in prompt puts both parents side by side on a sofa in a bright living room, holding a baby who giggles and reaches toward the camera. You can edit the prompt, for example to change the room to a garden or to dress the baby in a onesie in the party's colors. Keep the line that tells the model to keep both faces exactly as in the photos.

Baby shower reveal ideas

A 5-second clip on its own is over before anyone notices. The staging is what makes it a moment. Five ways to present it:

1. The TV loop

Render in 16:9 and set the clip to loop on the TV or projector. Before the guests arrive, show a still "coming soon" card. At the reveal, switch to the loop. Five seconds repeated every five seconds holds attention far better than one long video.

2. The "Meet baby" title card

In any phone video editor, add 3 seconds of a plain card before the clip: "Meet baby [family name]" or "Our future, according to AI". Add soft music, since the clip itself has no sound. End on a card with the due date.

3. The printed still

Pause the clip on the best frame and take a screenshot, or export a frame in your editor. Print it in a small frame for the gift table, or on the guest book cover. For a sharper print, run the still through the AI image upscaler first.

4. The guessing game

Make a few versions with different prompts: a park, a beach, a birthday cake. Show them one by one and ask guests to vote for the "most likely" baby. It turns the video into a game and keeps people talking.

5. The group-chat surprise

For family who cannot attend, send the vertical 9:16 version in the family chat at the same moment as the in-room reveal.

What it costs

Seedance 2 Mini817Drafts and testing photos
Seedance 2 Fast (default)2450The final party clip
Seedance 23882The most detailed version

A typical shower plan: two Mini drafts (34 credits) and one Fast final (50 credits) comes to 84 credits. The Lite pack (300 credits, $19.50 one-time) covers that with room for a few guessing-game versions. In India, the Standard pack is 125 credits for ₹599. Pack credits never expire, so leftovers work for the birth announcement later. See pricing.

Get a better result

  • Match the photos. Two photos taken in similar daylight blend better than one indoor selfie and one sunny holiday shot.
  • Faces large and sharp. Crop each photo so the face fills a good part of the frame.
  • No group photos. Use one person per photo, so the model knows which face is which parent.
  • Change one thing per retry. A new photo or one sentence of prompt, not both.

Keep it fun and kind

Say clearly at the party that it is an AI guess for fun. Some guests may take a baby face to heart, and real children rarely look like a blend of two photos. Only use photos of both parents with both parents' agreement: a surprise for your partner is fine, a video of someone else's relationship is not. If you post it online, label it as AI-generated where the platform asks you to.

If you want a still portrait instead of a video, the AI age progression tool works on single photos. To bring old family photos to life, see animate old photos.

FAQ

How do I make an AI future baby video for a baby shower surprise?

Upload one clear photo of each parent to Future Baby Video, choose 16:9 for a TV or 9:16 for phones, and generate. The default Seedance 2 Fast clip is 50 credits at 720p. Add a "Meet baby" title card and music in a phone editor, and loop it on the TV at the reveal.

Is the AI future baby accurate?

No. It is a fun blend of the two photos, not a genetic prediction. Treat it as a party game.

Can I make it for free?

You can test it. The 10 signup credits cover one 480p Seedance 2 Mini clip (8 credits), with a watermark. A clean 720p party version needs a credit pack.

Does the video have sound?

Plan to add music or a voice-over in your editor. The future baby template asks for a visual scene, not audio.

Can I print the baby picture?

Yes. Take a still frame from the clip, enlarge it with the AI image upscaler, and print it for a frame, card or guest book.
