A practical approach many people use: draft the layout cheaply on GPT Image 2 at 1K, then generate the final on Nano Banana Pro or at 2K-4K once the wording and layout are settled.

Step by step: make an AI flyer on VdoBloom

1. Write the copy first. Decide every word before opening the generator: headline, subheading, date, time, place, one call to action. Fewer words render more reliably. Six to twenty words of large text is the sweet spot.
2. Pick the shape. For a printed flyer, 2:3 or 3:4 is close to letter and A4 proportions and trims cleanly. For Instagram, 4:5; for stories and WhatsApp status, 9:16. Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image 2 and Qwen all offer these ratios; Recraft uses fixed pixel sizes such as 896×1152 (4:5).
3. Open Images → Generate, choose the model and resolution.
4. Write the prompt in layers: the exact text in quotes, where each piece goes, the style, the colors, and the background.
5. Generate two to four drafts and pick the one with the best layout, even if a word is wrong.

Two habits make the biggest difference: put every piece of text in quotes, and add “no other text” so the model does not invent extra slogans.

Using your own photo, logo or product

Many flyers need a real product shot or a logo. Instead of describing it, upload it: the Edit tab accepts reference images (up to 14, depending on the model), so you can say “put the product from image 1 on the right side of the flyer, with the headline ‘NEW SUMMER RANGE’ on the left”. Logos with fine lettering can still get redrawn slightly, so for brand-critical work, generate the flyer without the logo and place the real logo file on top in your editor.
