AI Video for Real Estate: The Seedance 2 Listing Video Workflow
Turn up to 10 listing photos into a silent, people-free walkthrough with Seedance 2 — Multimodal vs Frames mode, the six property types, and exact credit costs from 24 credits per clip.
A listing video on VdoBloom is built from the photos you already shot: upload up to 10 into the Real Estate tab, and Seedance 2 turns them into a silent cinematic walkthrough — 38 credits ($1.90) at 480p for 5 seconds, 82 credits ($4.10) at 720p, 203 credits ($10.15) at 1080p. The clip renders with no people and no audio, which sounds like two limitations and is actually the reason it is usable: you get a clean plate to lay your own narration over.
Why the photo-first workflow beats a shoot
Every listing already has photos. What it does not have is the walkthrough video that gets it played instead of scrolled past — and booking a videographer for a property that might go under offer in a fortnight rarely maths out. The Real Estate tool inverts the problem: the photos are the input, and the camera move is generated.
Two constraints are hard-coded into the generated prompt, and both are worth knowing before your first render. The prompt ends with “No people.” — no phantom buyers drifting through your kitchen shot. And the request is sent with audio generation disabled, so the video comes back silent. That is deliberate. You drop your own voiceover, the brokerage music bed or an agent narration over a clean track rather than fighting a generated soundtrack you did not ask for.
Step 1: prepare the photos, hero shot first
Up to 10 photos can be uploaded. The first is flagged HERO in the interface and anchors the look of the whole video, so lead with the strongest exterior or the best-lit main room. Photos can be removed and reordered before you generate.
If a photo is flat, dark or shot under a grey sky, fix the still before you animate it. The AI Real Estate Photography tool runs six style packs over a listing photo — Bright Day Exterior, Twilight Magic, Sky Replacement, HDR Premium, Lifestyle Touches and Virtual Staging (beta) — each returning 4 variants at 5 credits per image, so 20 credits ($1.00) per pack. Every pack prompt carries an architecture-preservation clause: only sky, weather, lighting or added props change, never the building. Output ratios are labelled for where they land: 4:3 for most MLS listings, 3:2 DSLR standard, 16:9 for portal banners, 1:1 for Instagram.
Step 2: choose how the photos are used
This is the setting most people miss, and it changes the result more than the model choice does.
- Multimodal (the default with Seedance 2) passes up to 9 of your photos to the model as references, producing a richer composite of the property.
- Frames uses photo 1 as the opening frame and photo 2 as the closing frame, and ignores the rest. Pick this when you want a controlled A-to-B camera move — front door to living room, balcony to skyline.
- Any non-Seedance model uses only the first photo. The interface warns you explicitly when you have uploaded more than one and selected a model that cannot use them.
Step 3: property type and listing details
Six property types are selectable — Apartment, House, Villa, Office, Studio and Land — and the choice rewrites the walkthrough prompt. Address, key features and asking price are optional fields written into the prompt as context: highlights arrive as “Property highlights: 4 beds, 3 baths, pool, ocean view” and the price as “Listed at …”.
Treat those as direction for the footage, not as on-screen text. They steer mood and pacing; they are not rendered as a guaranteed caption. If you need the price legible on screen, add it as a title card in your editor.
Step 4: model, resolution and what it costs
The model picker on this tab is filtered to image-to-video-capable models, with Seedance 2 at 16:9 as the default. Credits convert at 1 credit = $0.05, from the Lite plan at $15 for 300 credits.
| Model | Resolution | Length | Credits | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seedance 2 Fast | 480p | 5s | 24 | $1.20 |
| Seedance 2 Fast | 720p | 5s | 50 | $2.50 |
| Seedance 2 Fast | 720p | 10s | 100 | $5.00 |
| Seedance 2 | 480p | 5s | 38 | $1.90 |
| Seedance 2 | 720p | 5s | 82 | $4.10 |
| Seedance 2 | 1080p | 5s | 203 | $10.15 |
| Seedance 2 | 480p | 10s | 76 | $3.80 |
| Seedance 2 | 720p | 10s | 163 | $8.15 |
| Seedance 2 | 1080p | 10s | 405 | $20.25 |
| Seedance 2 | 720p | 15s | 244 | $12.20 |
The sane pattern for a working agent: draft at 480p, where a 5-second test is $1.90 and tells you whether the camera move reads correctly, then commit credits to 720p or 1080p for the version that goes on the portal. Seedance 2 Fast at 480p, 24 credits, is cheaper still for pure composition tests. Full specs are on the Seedance 2 model page.
Step 5: assemble the listing video
A single generated clip is not a listing video — it is a shot. The workflow that produces something a vendor will pay for looks like this:
- Generate an establishing exterior from the hero photo in Frames mode, photo 1 to photo 2.
- Generate two or three interior moves in Multimodal mode, grouping photos by room so the model is not asked to reconcile a kitchen and a bathroom in one pass.
- Cut them together in whatever editor you already use, in listing order: approach, entry, living space, kitchen, bedrooms, outside space.
- Lay your narration over the silent plates, add a music bed underneath, and burn in the address, price and your licence number as title cards.
- Export 16:9 for the portal and YouTube, and re-cut a 9:16 version for Reels and status — the vertical cut is where most enquiries come from now.
At 720p and 5 seconds per shot, a four-shot listing film is 328 credits, about $16.40 — and the photos cost nothing extra because you already had them.
What this tool will not do
It will not produce a factually accurate floor plan. It generates a cinematic impression from your stills, so rooms are interpreted rather than measured, and hallways the photos do not cover are invented. Review every clip against the actual property and cut anything that implies space or features the home does not have — misleading listing media is a regulatory problem in most markets, not just a taste problem.
It also will not put people in the property, by design. If your marketing needs a presenter, film that separately or use a spokesperson tool, and note that animating a photograph of a real person requires that person’s consent.
Start at the Real Estate tab, read the full feature breakdown at the real estate tool page, and check plan sizing on pricing — credit packs never expire, which suits agents with lumpy listing volume better than a monthly subscription. New accounts get 10 free credits with no card, enough to see the interface before you commit.
Frequently asked questions
How many listing photos can I use in one video?
Up to 10 can be uploaded. How many reach the model depends on the mode: Seedance 2 in Multimodal uses up to 9 as references, Frames uses the first two as start and end frames, and non-Seedance models use only the first photo.
Does the video include a voiceover or music?
No. Real estate clips are generated with audio disabled and come back silent. Add your narration, brokerage music or listing facts in your editor — nothing has to be ducked or removed first.
Will there be people walking through the rooms?
No. The generated prompt explicitly includes “No people.” The tool is built for an empty, aspirational walkthrough in professional real-estate photography style rather than a lifestyle film.
What does one listing video cost?
On the default Seedance 2 at 5 seconds: 38 credits ($1.90) at 480p, 82 ($4.10) at 720p and 203 ($10.15) at 1080p. Ten-second clips are roughly double. The dashboard checks your balance against the exact selection before it starts.
Can I use it for commercial property or land?
Yes. Office, Studio and Land sit alongside Apartment, House and Villa in the property-type picker, and the selection changes the wording of the walkthrough prompt accordingly.
Does the asking price appear on screen?
Not reliably. The price and address are written into the prompt as context that shapes the footage, not as rendered text. Add them as title cards if they need to be legible.
Can I fix a grey-sky exterior photo first?
Yes — the AI Real Estate Photography packs include Sky Replacement and Bright Day Exterior, and Twilight Magic turns interior lights on for the dusk shot. Each pack is 4 images for 20 credits, and all six preserve the building’s architecture while changing only sky, lighting or staging.
