PixVerse V6 Max: Specs, Prompts, Price and V6 Comparison
PixVerse V6 Max explained: 1-15 s clips up to 1080p, native audio, 5,000-character prompts, prompt templates, VdoBloom credit prices and V6 differences.
PixVerse V6 Max is a text-to-video and image-to-video model that makes clips of any whole second from 1 to 15, at 360p, 540p, 720p or 1080p, with an on/off switch for generated audio. It accepts prompts of up to 5,000 characters, which makes shot-by-shot prompts practical. Image-to-video uses one picture as the first frame.
Updated October 2026.
Disclosure: VdoBloom is our platform.
- Two modes: text-to-video with 8 aspect ratios, and image-to-video where the output follows your image’s shape.
- Length and quality: 1 to 15 seconds, up to 1080p.
- Audio: a single on/off switch. Turning it off costs fewer credits, so switch it off when you will add music later.
- Prompts: up to 5,000 characters, enough to describe several shots in order.
- Vendor claims: lip-synced dialogue, beat-synced motion and stronger consistency are described by PixVerse and its API partners, not independently verified here.
What PixVerse V6 Max is
V6 Max is the higher tier of PixVerse’s sixth-generation video model. We found no official launch date; it reached API platforms in October 2026, and its API documentation is where the specs below come from.
PixVerse and its API partners describe it as tuned for films, short drama, advertising and music videos. Their descriptions mention multi-character dialogue with lip-sync, motion that follows a music beat, and steadier characters, products and on-screen text across shots. Those are marketing claims. Treat them as things to test with your own prompts rather than guarantees.

Text-to-video vs image-to-video: the aspect ratio rule
The two modes share almost every setting. The big difference is who decides the frame shape.
| Setting | Text-to-video | Image-to-video |
|---|---|---|
| Input | Prompt only | Prompt plus 1 image (first frame) |
| Aspect ratio | You choose from 8 options | No setting; output follows the image |
| Duration | 1 to 15 s | 1 to 15 s |
| Resolution | 360p to 1080p | 360p to 1080p |
| Audio switch | Yes | Yes |
| Best for | Ideas, scenes, storyboards from scratch | Keeping a real product, face or layout in frame |
In image-to-video, crop the picture before uploading. Want a vertical 9:16 Reel? Upload a vertical image. A square photo gives you a square clip.

PixVerse V6 Max vs V6: which one to pick
VdoBloom also offers the older PixVerse V6. The table below sticks to documented settings. We are not claiming one looks better than the other, because that depends on your prompt and is not something the specs show.
| Feature (on VdoBloom) | PixVerse V6 | PixVerse V6 Max |
|---|---|---|
| Durations | 1, 5, 8, 10, 15 s | 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 15 s |
| Resolution | 360p to 1080p | 360p to 1080p |
| Aspect ratios | 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, 1:1 | Those five plus 2:3, 3:2, 21:9 |
| Prompt length | Up to 2,048 characters | Up to 5,000 characters |
| Native audio switch | No | Yes |
| Style presets | Yes | No |
Pick V6 Max if you need sound in the same pass, a cinematic 21:9 or a print-style 2:3 frame, or a long multi-shot prompt.
Pick V6 if you like working from style presets and a silent clip is fine. Our PixVerse V6 guide covers that workflow.
PixVerse V6 Max audio: when to switch it on
Audio is one switch. You cannot pick a voice or upload a track through it; the model generates sound to go with the picture.
Leave it on when the sound belongs to the scene: footsteps, ambience, a short spoken line. PixVerse describes dialogue with lip-sync as a strength, but we have not verified how well it holds up, so check each clip before you publish.
Turn it off when you will add music or a voiceover later in an editor. You would replace the generated audio anyway, and it costs more. At 720p and 5 seconds, a clip is 18 credits without audio and 24 with it. At 1080p and 15 seconds, it is 106 versus 135.

PixVerse V6 Max prompts: three shot-by-shot templates
“Storyboard” with V6 Max is a prompting style, not a separate feature. You use the long prompt limit to list shots in order, each with timing, camera and action. These are templates to adapt, not tested results.
Template 1: product ad in three shots (10 s, 9:16)
Shot 1 (0 to 3 s): close-up of a matte black water bottle on a wet granite counter, morning window light from the left, slow push-in.
Shot 2 (3 to 7 s): a hand lifts the bottle and twists the cap, condensation beads visible, camera orbits a quarter turn to the right.
Shot 3 (7 to 10 s): the bottle stands centred on a clean white background, the label text “STAY COLD” stays sharp and readable, static camera.
Sound: soft room ambience, the click of the cap.
For a real product, use image-to-video with a clean product photo as the first frame, and keep the text short.
Template 2: two-character dialogue (8 s, 16:9)
Setting: a small diner booth at night, neon sign glow through the window.
Character A: woman in her 30s, short grey hair, denim jacket, seated left.
Character B: man in his 50s, beard, flannel shirt, seated right.
Shot 1 (0 to 4 s): medium two-shot. A leans forward and says, “You kept the keys?”
Shot 2 (4 to 8 s): close-up on B. He smiles and says, “I kept everything.”
Sound: quiet diner chatter, a coffee cup set down.
Keep lines short and give each character a fixed position and outfit. Name who speaks in each shot.
Template 3: music-video beat cuts (12 s, 21:9)
Style: neon-lit rooftop at night, light rain, anamorphic look.
Beat 1 (0 to 3 s): wide shot, a dancer in a red coat stands still, city lights behind.
Beat 2 (3 to 6 s): on the beat, cut to a low angle as she spins, coat flaring.
Beat 3 (6 to 9 s): cut to a tight shot of her feet stepping through puddles in rhythm.
Beat 4 (9 to 12 s): pull back to the wide shot, she strikes a final pose on the last beat.
Sound: driving electronic beat at a steady tempo.
Beat sync is a vendor claim. If you plan to cut to your own song, consider turning audio off and matching cuts in your editor.
Limitations to know before you start
- One image only. Image-to-video takes exactly one picture as the first frame. There is no last-frame or multi-reference input in the documented API.
- 15-second cap. Longer videos mean stitching several clips together.
- No ratio control in image-to-video. Crop your image first.
- Audio is all or nothing. One switch, no voice or music choice.
- Vendor claims are unverified. Lip-sync, beat sync and consistency come from PixVerse and partner descriptions.
- Seeds help, but are not a promise. A fixed seed is meant to make results repeatable; the docs do not guarantee an identical clip.

FAQ
What is PixVerse V6 Max?
It is the top tier of PixVerse’s V6 video model, offering text-to-video and image-to-video. It makes clips from 1 to 15 seconds at up to 1080p, accepts prompts of up to 5,000 characters, and has an on/off switch for generated audio. It reached API platforms in October 2026.
What is the difference between PixVerse V6 and V6 Max?
On VdoBloom, V6 Max adds 2:3, 3:2 and 21:9 aspect ratios, 3 and 12 second durations, 5,000-character prompts and a native audio switch. V6 keeps style presets. Both reach 1080p. We do not claim either produces better-looking video, since the specs do not show that.
How long can a PixVerse V6 Max video be?
The API accepts any whole second from 1 to 15. On VdoBloom you can pick 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12 or 15 seconds. For anything longer, generate several clips, ideally using the last frame of one as the image input for the next, and join them in an editor.
Does PixVerse V6 Max make audio and lip-sync?
It has a switch that generates audio alongside the video. PixVerse and its API partners describe multi-character dialogue with lip-sync, but that is a vendor claim we have not verified. Keep spoken lines short, name the speaker in each shot and review every clip before publishing it.
Can I set the aspect ratio in image-to-video?
No. In image-to-video the output follows the shape of the image you upload, and there is no ratio setting. Crop your image to 9:16, 16:9 or whatever you need before uploading. Text-to-video lets you choose from eight ratios, including 21:9 and 2:3.
How long can the prompt be?
Prompts can be from 1 to 5,000 characters. That is enough room for a shot-by-shot plan with timing, camera moves, characters and sound notes. Longer is not automatically better, so keep each shot description concrete and drop details the model does not need.
How much does PixVerse V6 Max cost on VdoBloom?
It depends on resolution, length and audio. A 5-second 720p clip costs 18 credits without audio or 24 with it. A 15-second 1080p clip costs 106 or 135. One credit is $0.05 at the Lite rate ($15 for 300 credits).
Does the same seed give the same video?
The seed accepts values from 0 to 2,147,483,647 and is meant to make results more repeatable when the prompt and settings stay the same. The documentation does not promise an identical clip every time, so treat a fixed seed as a way to get similar results, not a guarantee.
