Seedance 1.5 Pro was retired in October 2026 and can no longer be generated on VdoBloom. This page used to list Seedance 1.5 Pro’s per-second rates; it now covers what the same budget buys on Mini.
What happened to Seedance 1.5 Pro
ByteDance is discontinuing Seedance 1.5 Pro, and its provider stops serving it at 04:00 UTC on 21 October 2026, so VdoBloom retires the model on that date. It no longer appears in the model picker. The replacement in the same family is Seedance 2.0 Mini.
What Seedance 2.0 Mini costs
Mini is priced by output length and resolution. Any whole-second length from 4 to 15 seconds is available at 480p or 720p, and all six aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4 and 21:9) cost the same. Text-to-video and image-to-video bill at the same rate. Dollar figures use the Lite plan rate of $15 for 300 credits, so one credit is $0.05.
| Length | 480p | 720p |
|---|---|---|
| 4 s (minimum) | 7 credits ($0.35) | 14 credits ($0.70) |
| 5 s | 8 credits ($0.40) | 17 credits ($0.85) |
| 6 s | 10 credits ($0.50) | 20 credits ($1.00) |
| 8 s | 13 credits ($0.65) | 27 credits ($1.35) |
| 10 s | 16 credits ($0.80) | 33 credits ($1.65) |
| 12 s | 19 credits ($0.95) | 40 credits ($2.00) |
| 15 s (maximum) | 24 credits ($1.20) | 50 credits ($2.50) |
Audio is generated by default on Mini with no surcharge, so there is no separate audio toggle to price in. The cost for your exact settings is shown in the generation panel before you run the job, and the credits for a failed generation are returned automatically.
How Mini compares with the rest of the Seedance family
| Model | 5 s at 720p | Max resolution | Max duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Seedance 2 Mini | 17 credits — $0.85 | 720p | 15 s |
| Seedance 2 Fast | 50 credits — $2.50 | 720p | 15 s |
| Seedance 2 | 82 credits — $4.10 | 4K | 15 s |
The one thing Mini does not replace is a 1080p tier: it tops out at 720p. For a 1080p or 4K deliverable, draft on Mini and render the keeper on Seedance 2, whose duration ladder and aspect ratios match Mini’s, so the composition carries straight over.
A worked budget
Ten 8-second 9:16 ad concepts drafted on Mini at 480p cost 13 credits each, 130 credits in total ($6.50 at the Lite rate). Re-rendering the best three at 720p costs 27 credits each, another 81 credits ($4.05). That is 211 credits for ten drafts and three finished 720p clips with sound. One-time credit packs start at $10.39 for 200 credits and never expire; see the pricing page for plans.
