If you want PixVerse with pay-per-use pricing, VdoBloom runs PixVerse V6 Max (and V4 to V6) on prepaid credits with no subscription. A 5-second V6 Max clip costs 18 credits at 720p without audio or 24 with audio, from 10 credits at 360p up to 45 at 1080p with audio. Clips run 1 to 15 seconds, text-to-video and image-to-video cost the same, new accounts get 10 free credits, and one-time credit packs never expire.
Disclosure: VdoBloom is our product. This page explains how our pricing for PixVerse works; it does not compare it with PixVerse’s own plans.

How does pay-per-clip work?
You buy a credit pack once and spend credits only when you generate. There is no monthly plan to keep, and credits from one-time packs never expire, so a pack bought for one project still works months later. Every tool on VdoBloom (image, video and audio) draws from the same balance.
Each PixVerse V6 Max clip is priced by three things: resolution, length in seconds, and whether audio is on. The exact number is calculated by the same code that charges you, and it appears on the generate button before you confirm. If the provider fails the job, the credits go back automatically.
PixVerse V6 Max credit table
Credits per clip, without audio / with audio. Text-to-video and image-to-video are the same price.
| Resolution | 5 seconds | 10 seconds | 15 seconds |
|---|---|---|---|
| 360p | 10 / 15 | 20 / 29 | 29 / 44 |
| 540p | 15 / 18 | 29 / 36 | 44 / 53 |
| 720p | 18 / 24 | 36 / 48 | 53 / 72 |
| 1080p | 36 / 45 | 71 / 90 | 106 / 135 |
How to work out other lengths
Each resolution has a per-second rate. The credit price is that rate in US dollars, times 80, times the number of seconds, rounded up to a whole credit:
- 360p: 0.024 per second without audio, 0.036 with audio
- 540p: 0.036 without, 0.044 with
- 720p: 0.044 without, 0.060 with
- 1080p: 0.088 without, 0.112 with
Example: an 8-second 720p clip with audio is 0.060 × 80 × 8 = 38.4, rounded up to 39 credits. A 3-second 1080p clip without audio is 0.088 × 80 × 3 = 21.12, so 22 credits.
Audio vs no audio: which should you pick?
Turn audio on when the sound is part of the idea: footsteps, rain, a crowd, an engine, a short line of speech. It adds between 3 and 9 credits on a 5-second clip, depending on resolution. Leave it off when you will add music or a voiceover in an editor anyway, or when the clip is one part of a longer edit with its own soundtrack. You can also make a draft without audio, then re-run the version you like with audio on.
A cheap way to work
- Draft at 360p or 540p for 5 seconds (10 to 15 credits) until the motion and framing look right.
- Keep the prompt and image, then re-run at 720p or 1080p for the final clip.
- Use the shortest length that tells the moment; 5 seconds is enough for most social clips.
For prompt patterns that work on this model, see our PixVerse V6 Max guide and how to use PixVerse V6.
Text to video or image to video?
Both cost the same, so choose by what you start with. Use text to video when you only have an idea: you pick the shape (from 9:16 for Reels to 21:9 for a cinematic strip) and the model invents the scene. Use image to video when the look must match something real, such as a product photo, a character you already designed, or a frame from another clip. The output keeps the shape of your image, so crop it to 9:16 or 16:9 before uploading.
Prompts work differently in each mode. In text to video, describe the subject, the setting, the light and the camera move. In image to video, the picture already shows the subject, so spend the words on motion: what moves, in which direction, and how fast. Short, concrete prompts such as “slow push-in, steam rises from the cup, she looks up and smiles” give steadier results than long lists of style words.
Other models on the same credits
Because the balance is shared, you can try a clip on PixVerse and another model without opening a second account. A few 5-second (or nearest-length) reference prices:
| Model | Setting | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| PixVerse V6 Max | 720p, 5 s, no audio | 18 |
| Seedance 2 Mini | 720p, 5 s | 17 |
| Hailuo 2.3 Pro (image to video) | 768p, 6 s | 18 |
| Kling 4.0 | 720p, 5 s | 57 |
| Seedance 2 | 720p, 5 s | 82 |
Every model has its own page in the models directory, including PixVerse V6 Max text to video and PixVerse V6 Max image to video. To animate a photo, start from image to video.
What a credit pack covers
The Lite pack is 300 credits for $19.50 one-time. At the default V6 Max setting (720p, 5 seconds, no audio, 18 credits) that is 16 clips; at 360p drafts it is 30. Prices for every pack and region are on the pricing page.
Limits to know
- One clip is at most 15 seconds; join several clips for a longer video.
- 1080p is the top resolution for V6 Max on VdoBloom.
- Image-to-video keeps the shape of your image; crop it first if you need 9:16.
- Free-tier clips carry a watermark; any paid pack removes it.
FAQ
PixVerse alternative with pay per use pricing?
VdoBloom runs PixVerse V6 Max on prepaid credits with no subscription: from 10 credits for a 5-second 360p clip to 45 for 1080p with audio. You pay only for the clips you make.
Do credits expire?
Credits from one-time packs never expire. Subscription credits, if you choose a plan, reset each billing cycle.

Yes. Turn on audio before you generate and V6 Max creates sound with the clip. It costs more: for 5 seconds at 720p, 24 credits instead of 18.
What is the longest clip?
15 seconds. At 720p that is 53 credits without audio or 72 with audio.
Is image-to-video priced differently?
