AI Video Generator for Facebook Ads
Facebook ad performance is a volume game: you need several creative angles on the same product before you know which hook the algorithm will reward. VdoBloom's Ad Variants tool is built for that specific step. You give it a product name, a key benefit, a target audience, an optional brand name and one product image, and it fires five script requests in parallel — one per hook style: Curiosity, Problem–Solution, Social Proof, Urgency and Humor.
Each returned script is a timestamped multi-shot brief written by a commercial-director prompt: every shot carries a visual description, a camera movement, a lighting style, motion details, a transition and a voiceover line, and the total timeline sums to the target length (15 seconds by default). The closing shot is mandatory and always integrates your brand and tagline — the script engine is explicitly instructed never to end abruptly.
The scripting step runs through the ad-script endpoint, which performs no credit deduction. You browse all five hooks for free and only spend credits when you pick one and render it as video — by default Seedance 2 at 9:16, 10 seconds, 720p, though you can switch model, aspect ratio, duration and resolution before generating.
What this tool does
- Ad Variants generates exactly 5 ad scripts in parallel, one per hook style: Curiosity, Problem–Solution, Social Proof, Urgency and Humor.
- The script step calls VdoBloom's ad-script endpoint, which performs no credit deduction — credits are charged only when you render a chosen variant as video.
- Each variant targets a 15-second ad and is capped at 3,000 characters so it fits the prompt box of the model you'll render it on.
- Every generated script is a timestamped shot list: per shot it specifies visual description, camera movement, lighting style, motion details, the transition out, and the voiceover line, with the timeline summing to the target duration.
- The final shot is mandatory in every script — product visible, brand present, tagline integrated — because the director prompt forbids ending abruptly.
- The script engine is instructed to upgrade a weak reference photo rather than copy it: cluttered backgrounds, poor lighting and unprofessional packaging in your upload are not carried into the ad description.
- Meta's ad specs use 9:16 for Reels and Stories placements, 4:5 for feed and 1:1 for square. In VdoBloom's video roster, 4:5 is available on HappyHorse 1.1 Text-to-Video and Reference-to-Video — and on the Ad Variants tab, which runs an image-to-video picker, Reference-to-Video is the one you can reach; 9:16 and 1:1 are available across Runway, Kling, Seedance, Wan 2.7, PixVerse, Vidu, MiniMax H3, Grok Imagine and P-Video.
- For static 4:5 feed creative, the image roster includes 4:5 on Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2 and 2 Lite, GPT Image 2 (text-to-image and image-to-image), Riverflow 2.0 Pro and Fast, and ImagineArt 2.0.
- Ad Variants defaults to Seedance 2 at 9:16, 10 seconds and 720p, and prices image-to-video rather than text-to-video because the flow always starts from your product image.
- Real render costs from the credit table: Wan 2.7 image-to-video 720p 10s = 64 credits; Seedance 2 image-to-video 480p 10s = 76 credits and 720p 10s = 163; Kling V3 Turbo bills 7.2 credits per second at 720p.
How it works
1.Describe the product and upload one image
Enter the product name, the single key benefit, the target audience and optionally a brand name, then upload the product or influencer photo the video will animate. The image is required before rendering because Ad Variants runs an image-to-video pipeline.
2.Generate all five hooks at once
The tool sends five parallel script requests, one per hook style, and returns each as a titled, timestamped shot list with a voiceover track. Nothing is deducted for this step, so you can regenerate the set if none of the angles land.
3.Read the scripts and pick the angle
Expand each variant to read the full script. Judge them on the opening shot and the voiceover's first line — that's the part Facebook shows before the viewer decides to keep watching.
4.Match the format to the placement
Pick 9:16 for Reels and Stories placements, 1:1 for square feed. If you specifically need Meta's 4:5 feed ratio in video, switch the model to HappyHorse 1.1 Reference-to-Video — it is the only variant exposing 4:5 and 5:4 that this tab's image-to-video picker carries (HappyHorse 1.1 Text-to-Video also has it, from the Text-to-Video tab).
5.Render, then re-render the runner-up
Generate the winning variant, then come back and render the second-place hook on the same product image. Two videos from one product photo is the cheapest form of creative testing available in the tool.
Frequently asked questions
How many ad variants does it generate?
Five — one for each hook style: Curiosity (an intriguing question or surprising fact), Problem–Solution (pain point then fix), Social Proof (results, reviews, before/after), Urgency (FOMO, limited offer) and Humor (relatable and shareable). They are requested in parallel; if one provider call fails you still get the rest.
Does generating the scripts cost credits?
No. The ad-script endpoint runs no credit deduction — it only calls the language model and returns the text. Credits are charged at the point you render a selected script as video, at that model's normal duration-and-resolution rate.
What aspect ratio should a Facebook video ad be?
Meta's spec sheet lists 9:16 for Reels and Stories placements, 4:5 for feed and 1:1 for square. Ad Variants defaults to 9:16. Nearly every model in the roster offers 9:16 and 1:1; 4:5 video is available specifically on HappyHorse 1.1 Text-to-Video and Reference-to-Video — on this tab, Reference-to-Video is the selectable one. Meta revises its placement specs periodically, so confirm against Ads Manager before a large buy.
How long should the ad be?
The script engine targets 15 seconds by default and accepts any target from 1 to 60 seconds. On the render side, most models in this tab's picker cap at 15 seconds per job and Vidu Q3 reaches 16; Seedance 2.5's 30 seconds at 480p or 720p is on the separate Seedance Effects tab. Ad Variants ships with a 10-second default.
My product photo is a phone snap on a messy table. Is that a problem?
Less than you'd expect. The director prompt explicitly instructs the model to assess presentation quality and mentally upgrade it — clean surfaces, crisp edges, professional lighting — rather than reproduce cluttered backgrounds or bad photography in the ad description. It still helps to shoot the product against a plain wall in daylight.
What does one rendered ad cost?
It depends on the model, resolution and length. From the credit table: Wan 2.7 image-to-video at 720p for 10 seconds is 64 credits; Seedance 2 image-to-video is 76 credits at 480p 10s and 163 at 720p 10s; Kling V3 Turbo is billed per second at 7.2 credits/s in 720p. If your browser reports the Asia/Kolkata timezone or a Hindi locale, credit packs are priced in rupees and checkout runs through Razorpay.
I sell on Amazon India, Flipkart and Meesho. Is this useful outside Meta?
The same renders work as marketplace and WhatsApp creative. If you want a listing-style asset rather than an ad, the Product 360 tab spins a single product photo through a full rotation across 18 styles, with prompts that hold labels, logos and text sharp and legible for the whole revolution — including a listing-compliant pure-white variant.
