AI Video Generator for Instagram Ads

An Instagram ad has to look deliberate in the first second and finish on your brand. VdoBloom's Advertisement tool handles both ends: you supply a concept in one or two lines and a tagline, optionally attach reference images of the product, and a commercial-director prompt returns a complete timestamped shot list — Introduction, Build-up, Hero Moment, Resolution, Final Branding Shot — with a camera movement, lighting style, motion detail, transition and voiceover line specified for every shot.

The tagline is not optional. The generator is instructed that the ad must never end abruptly and that the closing shot must show the product, carry brand presence and integrate your tagline naturally. You can also feed it your own voiceover lines (up to 1,200 characters) and a list of shots you specifically want included (up to 800 characters), and it will weave them in rather than override them.

The script is then capped to whatever prompt budget your chosen render model accepts — 1,800 characters on Runway, 2,048 on PixVerse, 2,500 on Kling, 2,000 on Vidu (3,000 on Vidu Q1) and 5,000 on Veo 3.1 and Hailuo — the models the Advertisement picker carries; Seedance and Wan share the 5,000 cap on the text-to-video and image-to-video tabs — so the finished script actually fits the model you are about to run it on, instead of being silently truncated.

What this tool does

  • The Advertisement tool's script targets any total length from 1 to 60 seconds, defaulting to 15, and the generated timeline is required to sum to exactly that duration.
  • Every generated shot specifies six things: visual description, camera movement, lighting style, motion details, the transition to the next shot, and the voiceover line where one applies.
  • The tagline field is required and capped at 140 characters, because the final shot must show the product, carry brand presence and integrate the tagline — the director prompt forbids an abrupt ending.
  • Input limits are explicit: concept 600 characters, tagline 140, specific shot requests 800, your own voiceover lines 1,200, brand name 80.
  • The script is generated on Google Gemini 3.1 Pro with Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4.6 as a cross-provider fallback, so a single provider's outage or rate limit does not stop ad-script generation.
  • The finished script is auto-capped to your render model's real prompt limit: Runway 1,800 characters, PixVerse 2,048, Kling 2,500, Vidu 2,000 (Vidu Q1 3,000), and 5,000 on Veo 3.1 and Hailuo.
  • Instagram ad placements use 9:16 for Reels and Stories, 4:5 for feed and 1:1 for square. The Advertisement tab's picker — Runway, Kling, Hailuo, PixVerse, Vidu, MiniMax H3 and Veo 3.1 — covers 9:16 and 1:1; 4:5 exists only on HappyHorse 1.1 Text-to-Video and Reference-to-Video, which you reach from the Text-to-Video tab.
  • MiniMax H3 text-to-video covers unusually wide formats for a social ad — 21:9, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4 and 9:16 at 768P or 2K, 4–15 seconds with audio. Its image-to-video variant has no aspect selector and takes its shape from the input frame.
  • Seedance 2 is the only model in the roster offering all four of 480p, 720p, 1080p and 4K, across six aspect ratios from 21:9 to 9:16, at 4–15 seconds — it sits on the Seedance Effects tab rather than in the Advertisement picker.
  • For product-led ads, the Product 360 tab spins one photo through a full rotation in 18 styles, with prompts that keep every label, logo and line of text sharp and legible across the whole revolution.
  • Free-plan downloads carry a VdoBloom watermark; a paid plan downloads the same render watermark-free.

How it works

  1. 1.Write the concept and the tagline

One or two lines of concept (up to 600 characters) and the tagline that must appear in the closing shot (up to 140). Add a brand name if you want it named on screen. The tool refuses to generate without a tagline because the branded ending depends on it.

  2. 2.Attach reference images of the product

Reference images are analysed for product, environment, textures, lighting and mood, but they are never described literally in the output — the script expands them into macro, environment and detail shots instead of recreating the photo statically.

  3. 3.Set the ad length and generate the script

Choose a target between 1 and 60 seconds (15 is the default). The returned script is a timestamped shot list whose timeline sums to that exact duration, with a separate concatenated voiceover track you can reuse for subtitles.

  4. 4.Pick the render model and the placement format

The editor caps the script to your model's prompt limit and shows a live character counter. Choose 9:16 for Reels and Stories or 1:1 for square feed. Meta's 4:5 feed ratio is not available in the Advertisement picker at all — for that, run the same script on HappyHorse 1.1 from the Text-to-Video tab.

  5. 5.Render, then repurpose

Generate the ad, then reuse the same product image in Product 360 for a listing spin or in the UGC Ad Creator for a talking-creator version of the same claim.

Frequently asked questions

How long should an Instagram ad video be?

The script generator defaults to 15 seconds and accepts any target from 1 to 60. On the render side, most models on this tab cap at 15 seconds per generation; the longest is Vidu Q3 at 16 seconds with audio. For a longer ad, generate the shots separately and assemble them.

What aspect ratio does Instagram want for ads?

Meta's specs use 9:16 for Reels and Stories placements, 4:5 for feed and 1:1 for square. Most models here expose 9:16 and 1:1. If you need 4:5 video specifically, HappyHorse 1.1 Text-to-Video and Reference-to-Video are the only variants offering 4:5 and 5:4 — and they live on the Text-to-Video tab, not in the Advertisement picker. Meta updates its placement specs periodically, so confirm in Ads Manager before a big buy.

Do I have to write the voiceover?

No. If you leave the voiceover field empty the director writes professional advertising voiceover matched to your concept. If you supply your own lines (up to 1,200 characters) they are integrated naturally into the shots rather than replaced, and the concatenated voiceover comes back as a separate field you can use for subtitles.

Why does it insist on a tagline?

Because the closing shot is mandatory in the script structure: product clearly visible, brand present, tagline integrated, finishing like a real commercial. The generator is explicitly instructed that the video must never end abruptly, and the tagline is what gives the ending something to land on.

Will a long script break the model I pick?

No — the script is generated against your model's real prompt budget and compressed on a retry if the first draft overshoots. The limits enforced on this tab are Runway 1,800 characters, PixVerse 2,048, Kling 2,500, Vidu 2,000 (Vidu Q1 3,000) and 5,000 for Veo 3.1 and Hailuo. The editor shows a live counter against that cap.

What if I want several angles instead of one polished ad?

Use Ad Variants instead. It generates five 15-second scripts at once — Curiosity, Problem–Solution, Social Proof, Urgency and Humor — with no credits deducted for the scripting step, so you can compare hooks before spending anything on rendering.

I run a small D2C brand in India. Is this practical?

The whole flow needs one product photo and about 60 seconds of typing, and no filming. Credit packs are priced in rupees through Razorpay when your browser reports the Asia/Kolkata timezone or a Hindi locale. For marketplace listings on Amazon India, Flipkart or Meesho, the Product 360 tab includes a listing-compliant pure-white spin style alongside its 17 other looks.
