How to Make an AI Video for Your Airbnb Listing

Turn 4 to 12 listing photos into a 25 to 40 second promo with captions and voice-over. Which photos to use, costs, formats and where to post it.

By VdoBloom Team

You can turn the photos you already have for your Airbnb listing into a 25 to 40 second promo video with AI. In VdoBloom’s Hotel Video Maker you upload 4 to 12 photos, and the tool orders them (outside, living area, bedroom, bathroom, view), gives two or three of them real motion, adds short captions, an optional voice-over and an end card with your name and call to action. The Standard version costs about 32 credits and the Cinematic version about 390, and the exact quote is shown before you generate. Output is 9:16 for Reels and TikTok or 16:9 for a website. It animates your real photos; it does not redraw rooms or add amenities you do not have.

Quick facts

  • Tool: Hotel Video Maker, built for hotels, resorts, homestays and short-term rentals.
  • Input: 4 to 12 photos, plus optional name, location, price text and amenities.
  • Length: 25 to 40 seconds.
  • Formats: 9:16 (default) or 16:9.
  • Standard: 2 photos get real motion (Kling v3 Turbo, 720p), the rest get a slow zoom-and-pan. About 32 credits.
  • Cinematic: 3 photos get real motion on Seedance 2.5, 720p. About 390 credits.
  • Voice-over languages: English, Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Indonesian and Arabic.
  • Accuracy: only amenities you list, or that your page states, appear in captions.
  • Refunds: a failed motion clip is refunded and that photo falls back to a zoom-and-pan; the video still ships.

Which listing photos should I use?

The video is only as good as the photos. Use the same set guests already see on your listing, chosen for motion:

  • Exterior or entrance first. It is the “arriving” shot and sets the scene.
  • The best room shot. A wide living area or bedroom photo with natural light works best as a motion shot.
  • The view or outdoor space. Balconies, pools, gardens and sea views move well: water ripples, leaves sway, curtains drift.
  • One or two details. Coffee setup, a reading corner, a bathtub. They work as quick zoom shots.
  • Skip dark, tilted, heavily filtered or very cluttered photos. The tool does not fix them.

Use horizontal photos for a 16:9 video and portrait or well-centred photos for 9:16, since wide shots are cropped in a vertical frame.

How to make the video, step by step

  1. Add your details. Type the property name, the location and, if you want, a price line and amenities. You can paste a booking page link and the tool tries to read the name, location, price and amenities from it. Everything it finds is editable, and nothing is required.
  2. Upload 4 to 12 photos and confirm you have the right to use them.
  3. Pick Standard or Cinematic, 9:16 or 16:9, and the voice-over language. The quote for both tiers updates as you change options.
  4. Review the plan. The tool sorts the photos into beats, writes a caption of up to five words for each and a short voice-over script. Planning is free. Edit any caption, the script or the order before you pay.
  5. Generate. The video is built in the background: motion clips, voice-over, then the final edit with captions and the end card. It lands in My Creations as an MP4.

What does it cost?

Photos with real motion2 × 10 credits (Kling v3 Turbo, 5 s, 720p)3 × 126 credits (Seedance 2.5, 5 s, 720p)

Final edit with captions4 credits for a video under 2 minutes4 credits

Each step is charged as it starts, so a failed step does not charge for the rest. Standard is the sensible first try; the Lite pack is 300 credits for $19.50 one-time, which covers several Standard videos, and pack credits never expire. New accounts get 10 free credits, which is not enough for a full video. See the pricing page for packs.

Where should I post an Airbnb listing video?

Airbnb listings are built around photos, and hosts should check Airbnb’s current host tools before assuming a video can be added to the listing itself. The video earns its keep elsewhere:

  • Instagram Reels and TikTok in 9:16. Post it with the location tag and a line about the best season to visit.
  • Your direct booking website in 16:9, at the top of the page.
  • WhatsApp for guests who ask “can you send more pictures?”
  • Google Business Profile, if your property has one.
  • Facebook groups for local travel, where allowed.

Use a call to action that matches the platform, such as “Book direct” (the default end card text) on your own site or “Link in bio” on Instagram.

Keep it accurate

A listing video that oversells leads to bad reviews. The tool is built to avoid that: the motion prompt locks walls, fixtures and furniture and keeps the photo’s own lighting, and captions can only mention amenities you listed or your page states. Still, check the result:

  • Watch every motion shot. If a room looks larger or different from reality, regenerate or let that photo stay a still zoom.
  • Only list amenities guests will actually find. No pool in the captions unless there is a pool.
  • Keep the price line current, or leave it out.
  • Do not use photos of guests without their permission.

Other options

For a single photo, Image to Video animates one shot from 7 credits for 5 seconds. For homes for sale or long-term rentals, the Real Estate Video Maker is built for property tours, and Virtual Staging furnishes empty rooms in photos, which should be labelled as staged. Our AI video for real estate guide covers those workflows.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make an AI video for my Airbnb listing?

Yes. Upload 4 to 12 listing photos to the Hotel Video Maker and get a 25 to 40 second promo with captions, an optional voice-over and an end card. The Standard version is about 32 credits.

Does the AI change how my rooms look?

It is designed not to. Motion prompts lock walls, fixtures and furniture and keep the original lighting. Check every shot anyway, and keep any shot that looks off as a still zoom.

How long is the video?

Between 25 and 40 seconds, in 9:16 or 16:9.

Can the voice-over be in another language?

Yes: English, Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Indonesian or Arabic. You can also turn the voice-over off.

Can I upload the video to Airbnb?

Check Airbnb’s current host tools for what a listing accepts. The video is most useful on Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp and your own booking site.

Pick your best 6 to 8 listing photos and open the Hotel Video Maker. The plan and captions are free to review before you spend any credits.
