It is worth being precise about this, because a spec comparison between these two is mostly a list of ties. Both models take text prompts, starting images, and reference videos. Reduced to per-second rates: Fast is about 4.8 credits per second at 480p and 10 at 720p; Mini is about 1.6 and 3.3. Reference-video runs are cheaper per second on both — roughly 2.8 and 6.0 on Fast, 1.0 and 2.0 on Mini — but they are billed on input plus output duration, so feeding a 10-second reference to get a 10-second output is billed as 20 seconds.

One caveat you should know before budgeting a month around these numbers: both models are currently running limited-time promotional rates on VdoBloom. Animatics and pitch boards. Rough 21:9 shot ideas at 480p are about communicating framing and motion, not finish. Mini does that at a third of Fast’s price with the same ratio list, so the compositions carry upward unchanged.

When Fast is worth the extra credits
