Christmas 2026 Wishes Video With Name

Make a Christmas 2026 wishes video with your name and theirs on screen: To and From up to 40 characters, a 120-character message, from 7 credits.

Updated 31 October 2026

A Christmas 2026 wishes video with name shows "Dear [their name]", "Merry Christmas", your message and "— [your name]" on a short festive clip made from your photo. With VdoBloom's festival greeting video maker (Christmas style) the names are typed into To and From fields (up to 40 characters each) plus an optional message (up to 120 characters), and they are added free on top of the video. The default clip costs 7 credits and new accounts get 10 free credits; free-tier downloads carry a watermark.

This page is about getting names on screen correctly. For the full photo-to-greeting walkthrough see Merry Christmas 2026 video from your photo; for a spoken name from Santa see Santa video for kids with their name.

Quick facts

  • Name fields: To (shown as "Dear [name]") and From (shown as "— [name]"), 40 characters each.
  • Message: up to 120 characters, shown between the greeting and your name.
  • Greeting line: "Merry Christmas" in English, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada or Malayalam.
  • Cost of the text: 0 credits. You pay only for the video: 7 credits for 4 s at 480p, 16 for 10 s at 480p, 33 for 10 s at 720p (Seedance 2 Mini).
  • Required: only the photo. Every text field is optional.
  • Timing: lines fade in a little after the middle of the clip; the last frame holds 1.5 seconds.

Why the name looks clean (and not garbled)

AI video models are bad at spelling. Ask one to write "Merry Christmas, Priya" and you often get warped letters. So VdoBloom generates the Christmas scene with no writing at all, then sets your words on top in proper type over a soft dark band. That is why the name is always spelled exactly as you typed it. If you type "Dear Grandma" into To, it shows "Dear Grandma", not "Dear Dear Grandma".

How to make a Christmas wishes video with a name

  1. Open the festival greeting video maker with the Christmas style selected.
  2. Upload a photo: yours, the family's, or one of the person you are sending it to.
  3. Pick Christmas or Santa Visit.
  4. Type the recipient in To: "Ammachi", "Mr and Mrs Fernandes", "Team Bloom".
  5. Type your name in From: "Rahul, Neha & kids".
  6. Add a Message if you like: "Wishing you a peaceful Christmas and a bright 2027."
  7. Choose the greeting language, then length and shape (9:16 for Status and Stories).
  8. Check the price, press Generate, and download in about 2–3 minutes.

What fits in each field?

FieldLimitShows asExample
To40 charactersDear [To]Dear Aunty Mary
GreetingSet by languageMerry Christmasक्रिसमस की शुभकामनाएं (Hindi)
Message120 charactersYour lineThank you for always being there.
From40 characters— [From]— Joel & family

Leave a field empty and the line is dropped, so you can make a clip with only "Merry Christmas" and your name.

One name or many? Making a batch for everyone

Each video carries one To name. To send a personal version to ten relatives, generate ten clips with the same photo and a different To name each time. At the default setting that is 10 × 7 = 70 credits. Tip: if one clip already looks great, you can reuse the same photo and settings and change only the To field, so every version matches.

A cheaper route for big groups: one clip with To set to "everyone" or "our dear friends", and personal names only for the closest few.

Name ideas by recipient

  • Parents and grandparents: To "Appa & Amma", Message "Missing your Christmas cake already."
  • Partner: To "my favourite person", From your first name only.
  • Friends group: To "the Saturday gang", Message "Same table, same chaos, 2027?"
  • Clients or customers: To "our valued customers", From your shop or brand name.
  • Teacher: To "Ms Thomas", From "Class 4B".
  • Kids: To the child's name, Santa Visit style, From "Santa" (or from you).

Want the name spoken, not just shown?

The greeting tool puts the name on screen only. To have it said out loud:

  1. Write the wish with the name in text to speech (26 voices, 8 credits per 1,000 characters). Or record it yourself.
  2. Use the audio with the AI talking avatar on a photo so the face says it.
  3. For a song with the name in it, see AI Christmas song with your name and the AI music generator.

Text to speech supports 40 languages including Hindi and Tamil; for Malayalam and other Indian languages, show the wish on screen and record the voice yourself. More in Christmas wishes in Indian languages.

Common problems

  • "We can't draw some of that text yet": a few scripts or symbols are not supported for names. Use English letters or a listed language.
  • Name cut short: the field stops at 40 characters. Use "& family" instead of listing everyone.
  • Emoji missing: keep names and messages to plain text for the cleanest result.
  • No text at all on the download: rare; you get the clip with a notice and nothing extra is charged.
  • Want a still card instead? Use the AI Christmas photo generator (5 credits) or see AI Christmas card from photo.

Writing a short wish that fits

120 characters is about one or two short sentences. That is enough for a warm line and leaves room on screen. Some patterns that work:

  • Thanks: "Thank you for everything this year. Merry Christmas and a happy 2027."
  • Missing someone: "Wish we could be together. Saving you a slice of cake."
  • Invitation: "Christmas lunch at ours, 25 December, 1 pm. Bring the kids!"
  • Business: "Thank you for shopping with us in 2026. Season's greetings from the whole team."
  • Faith: "May the peace and joy of Christmas fill your home."

Read it aloud once. If it takes longer than about four seconds to read, pick a 10-second clip (16 credits at 480p) so the text has time on screen before the last frame holds.
