Seedance 2.5 price: the full credit table, per second and per clip

What this tool does

• Seedance 2.5 is billed linearly per second: 9.2 credits per second at 480p and 20.0 at 720p, with no audio surcharge and no aspect-ratio multiplier.
• Seedance 2.5 at 480p: 4s = 37 credits, 5s = 46, 10s = 92, 15s = 138, 20s = 184, 30s = 276.
• Seedance 2.5 at 720p: 4s = 80 credits, 5s = 100, 10s = 200, 15s = 300, 20s = 400, 30s = 600.
• The cheapest possible Seedance 2.5 render is 37 credits — 4 seconds at 480p. The model has no shorter duration and no lower resolution.
• The price does not change with the tab. The same model, duration and resolution cost the same in Text to Video, Image to Video and Seedance Effects — only the model, the length and the resolution move the number.
• 720p costs roughly 2.2 times 480p for the same length, so every take you discard during a 480p draft pass costs less than half what it would at 720p.
• A new VdoBloom account's 10 free signup credits do not cover any Seedance 2.5 job — the 37-credit minimum is nearly four times that balance.
• Seedance 2 is cheaper than Seedance 2.5 at every configuration the two share: 5 seconds at 720p is 82 credits versus 100, and 15 seconds at 720p is 244 versus 300.
• At 720p, Seedance 2.5's 20.0 credits per second is the highest per-second rate on VdoBloom's video roster — Kling V3 Turbo is 7.2 and Seedance 1.5 Pro is 1.5 at the same resolution.
• A cheaper Seedance 2.5 tier exists only when a reference video is supplied — 6.8 credits/sec at 480p and 15.2 at 720p, billed on input plus output duration. Uploading a photo does not trigger it, so an ordinary prompt or photo job is billed at the standard rates.

How it works

1. 1.Fix the resolution first — it is a 2.2x switch

   480p is 9.2 credits per second and 720p is 20.0. Every other decision on this page is smaller than that one. Decide whether the clip ships at 480p or 720p before you compare anything else, because a 30-second 480p clip (276) costs less than a 15-second 720p clip (300).

2. 2.Multiply by the duration you actually need

   The rate is flat across the whole 4-to-30-second range, so there is no discount for going long and no penalty either. Ten seconds at 480p is 92 credits, twenty is 184, thirty is 276. At 720p the same lengths are 200, 400 and 600. Pick the shortest length the edit can use.

3. 3.Draft at 480p, deliver at 720p

   A worked example: five 8-second concepts at 480p cost 74 credits each, 370 in total, then one approved 8-second re-render at 720p costs 160 — 530 credits altogether. Running all five concepts at 720p from the start would have cost 800. The draft pass saves 270 credits and gets you the same final clip.

4. 4.Sanity-check against the alternatives before you commit

   If the clip is 15 seconds or shorter, Seedance 2 renders it cheaper at both shared resolutions — 244 credits for 15 seconds at 720p against 300. If you do not need Seedance's look at all, Kling V3 Turbo runs 3-15 seconds at 7.2 credits per second at 720p. Only pay Seedance 2.5's rate when the 30-second ceiling is the reason you are there.

5. 5.Top up before you start, and know what a failure costs

   Because the minimum job is 37 credits and a new account holds 10, plan the balance before you open the tab. Credits are deducted when the job is submitted and refunded automatically if the generation fails, so a failed render does not cost you the clip's price — but an unsatisfying successful render does.
