Seedance 2.5 price: the full credit table, per second and per clip

What this tool does

• Seedance 2.5 is billed linearly per second: 11.2 credits per second at 480p, 25.2 at 720p and 63.2 at 1080p, with no audio surcharge and no aspect-ratio multiplier.
• Seedance 2.5 at 480p: 4s = 45 credits, 5s = 56, 10s = 112, 15s = 168, 20s = 224, 30s = 336.
• Seedance 2.5 at 720p: 4s = 101 credits, 5s = 126, 10s = 252, 15s = 378, 20s = 504, 30s = 756.
• Seedance 2.5 at 1080p: 4s = 253 credits, 5s = 316, 10s = 632, 15s = 948, 20s = 1,264, 30s = 1,896.
• The cheapest possible Seedance 2.5 render is 45 credits — 4 seconds at 480p. The model has no shorter duration and no lower resolution.
• The price does not change with the tab. The same model, duration and resolution cost the same in Text to Video, Image to Video and Seedance Effects — only the model, the length and the resolution move the number.
• 720p costs roughly 2.25 times 480p for the same length, and 1080p is 2.5 times 720p — so every take you discard during a 480p draft pass costs under a fifth of what it would at 1080p.
• A new VdoBloom account's 10 free signup credits do not cover any Seedance 2.5 job — the 45-credit minimum is four and a half times that balance.
• Seedance 2 is cheaper than Seedance 2.5 at every resolution they share — 15 seconds at 720p is 244 credits versus 378, and at 1080p 612 versus 948 (Seedance 2.5 bills 63.2 credits per second there against Seedance 2's roughly 40.8).
• At 720p, Seedance 2.5's 25.2 credits per second is the highest per-second rate on VdoBloom's video roster — Kling V3 Turbo is 7.2 and Seedance 1.5 Pro is 1.5 at the same resolution. The 1080p tier runs higher still, at 63.2.
• A cheaper Seedance 2.5 tier exists only when a reference video is supplied — 6.8 credits/sec at 480p, 15.2 at 720p and 38.0 at 1080p, billed on input plus output duration. Uploading a photo does not trigger it, so an ordinary prompt or photo job is billed at the standard rates.

How it works

1. 1.Fix the resolution first — it is a 2.2x switch

   480p is 11.2 credits per second, 720p is 25.2 and 1080p is 63.2 — more than a doubling at each step. Every other decision on this page is smaller than that one. Decide the shipping resolution before you compare anything else, because a 30-second 480p clip (336) costs less than a 15-second 720p clip (378), and 756 buys either 30 seconds at 720p or 11 at 1080p.

2. 2.Multiply by the duration you actually need

   The rate is flat across the whole 4-to-30-second range, so there is no discount for going long and no penalty either. Ten seconds at 480p is 112 credits, twenty is 224, thirty is 336. At 720p the same lengths are 252, 504 and 756; at 1080p they are 632, 1,264 and 1,896. Pick the shortest length the edit can use.

3. 3.Draft at 480p, deliver at 720p

   A worked example: five 8-second concepts at 480p cost 90 credits each, 450 in total, then one approved 8-second re-render at 720p costs 202 — 652 credits altogether. Running all five concepts at 720p from the start would have cost 1,010. The draft pass saves 358 credits and gets you the same final clip.

4. 4.Sanity-check against the alternatives before you commit

   If the clip is 15 seconds or shorter, Seedance 2 renders it cheaper at every shared resolution — 244 credits for 15 seconds at 720p against 378. If you do not need Seedance's look at all, Kling V3 Turbo runs 3-15 seconds at 7.2 credits per second at 720p. Only pay Seedance 2.5's rate when the 30-second ceiling is the reason you are there.

5. 5.Top up before you start, and know what a failure costs

   Because the minimum job is 45 credits and a new account holds 10, plan the balance before you open the tab. Credits are deducted when the job is submitted and refunded automatically if the generation fails, so a failed render does not cost you the clip's price — but an unsatisfying successful render does.
