How to Use Kling 3.0 Omni Text-to-Video: Specs, Prompts and Real Credit Costs

Kling 3.0 Omni Text-to-Video is the only Kling model on VdoBloom that generates native audio with every clip — you type a prompt, pick 3 to 15 seconds and a 720p, 1080p or 4K tier, and it returns a single-shot cinematic video with sound already mixed in, starting at 24 credits for a 3-second 720p clip.

It runs on the Text to Video tab at /dashboard/video-creation/text-to-video/, and it is text-only by design: the model id is locked to that tab, so if you want to animate an existing photo you use its sibling, Kling 3.0 Omni Image-to-Video, instead. Both are priced from the same table, so nothing changes about the cost when you switch modes.

What Kling 3.0 Omni is actually best at

Three things separate it from the rest of the Kling line in VdoBloom’s catalog.

Audio is not optional. The service always requests audio generation, and the credit tables are built on the with-audio provider rate rather than a cheaper silent rate. There is no mute tier to save credits on. That is a feature when you want ambience, footsteps, room tone or a line of dialogue baked into the shot, and a waste when you were going to strip the audio anyway — in that second case the plain Kling V3.0 model is cheaper per second.

A real 4K tier. Omni exposes 720p, 1080p and 4K. Very few models in the catalog render true 4K in one pass, and it is priced accordingly: 4K costs roughly 3.3× what 720p does per second.

Single-shot framing you control. Text-to-video takes an explicit aspect ratio of 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1, so you decide the frame rather than cropping later. How to prompt it well

The prompt window is generous at 3,000 characters, which tempts people into writing scripts. Resist that. Because the model renders one continuous shot, the useful structure is a single paragraph that fixes four things in order: subject, action, camera, and sound.

• Subject and wardrobe first. Say who or what is on screen and what they look like before you say what happens. The model locks identity from the opening clause.
• One action, not three. A 5-second clip fits roughly one beat. “She turns toward the window and smiles” renders; “she walks in, sits, pours coffee, then answers the phone” turns into mush.
• Name the camera move explicitly. Slow push in, static locked-off, handheld follow, slow orbit. Omitting it hands the decision to the model, and it usually picks a drift you did not want.
• Describe the audio. This is the part people forget. Since sound always renders, an audio clause is free steering: rain on glass, distant traffic, a low synth pad, one spoken line in quotes. Leave it out and you get whatever ambience the model infers.
• End with lighting and look. Golden hour backlight, sodium streetlamp, overcast soft light, shallow depth of field, 35mm.

A worked example. Suppose you need a 9:16 opener for a coffee brand. Start cheap: 5 seconds, 720p, 40 credits, with the prompt A barista in a charcoal apron lifts a ceramic cup toward the camera in a narrow sunlit cafe, slow push in, shallow depth of field, warm golden window light, audio: milk steamer hiss and quiet morning chatter. That first render costs $2 at list. Once the motion and the audio feel right, re-run the identical prompt at 1080p for 54 credits, or at 4K for 134 if it is going on a big screen. Drafting at 720p and finishing at 4K on a 5-second clip costs 174 credits total; going straight to 4K and getting the camera move wrong twice costs 268.

When to pick a different model

Omni is not the default answer for every video.

• You do not need sound. Kling V3.0 renders silent at 5.6 credits per second on its standard tier — 28 credits for 5 seconds against Omni’s 40 — and it also accepts a start image.
• You want the cheapest Kling motion test. Kling V3 Turbo Text-to-Video is the speed tier at 7.2 credits per second in 720p, with the same 3–15 second range.
