Two things fall out of that table immediately. First, the pricing is genuinely linear inside each resolution, so a 15-second clip costs exactly five times a 3-second clip β€” there is no volume discount for asking for a longer single shot, and no penalty either. Second, 4K is not a modest step up. It is about 3.35 times the 720p rate and about 2.5 times the 1080p rate. A 15-second 4K render at 402 credits costs more than an entire Lite month.

Why the price includes audio whether you want it or not

Kling 3.0 Omni generates native audio in the same pass β€” ambience, effects and dialogue with matching lip movement β€” and there is no toggle to switch it off for a discount. So the honest rule is: pick Omni when the sound is part of the deliverable, and pick silent Kling 3.0 when it is not.

Choosing a resolution without wasting credits

720p at 8 credits per second is the right default for drafting. Prompts for video are unpredictable enough that the first render is usually a test of whether the idea works at all, and a failed idea at 720p costs 40 credits instead of 134. 4K at 26.8 credits per second is for work that will be projected, cropped heavily in post, or intercut with real 4K footage.
