Unlimited AI Video Generators in 2026: What “Unlimited” Really Means (and Free Options)
Which AI video platforms sell unlimited plans in 2026, the fine print (slow queues, model lists, time limits), why they are throttled, and real free options.
No major AI video platform sells truly unlimited video generation in October 2026. What is sold as “unlimited” is one of four things: a slower relax queue (Midjourney video at SD resolution), a time-limited window on named models (Higgsfield’s 7-day windows, Pollo’s 10-day and 365-day labels), a first-year promotion (Adobe Firefly), or unlimited use of a side feature such as 4K upscaling (Runway). Each one is real, and each one is narrower than the word suggests. VdoBloom does not offer an unlimited plan. You pay per clip from credits that never expire.

Who sells “unlimited” AI video right now
We checked each vendor’s own pricing page, help docs or terms on 19 October 2026. Prices and plan names change often and some pages differ by region, so treat this table as a map of the conditions, not a price list.
| Platform | What is “unlimited” | The fine print |
|---|---|---|
| Higgsfield | 7-day unlimited windows on named models on Pro and Max (Nano Banana 2 at 2K and Kling 3.0; Max adds Nano Banana Pro at 2K), plus a short list of other unlimited models | Only on higgsfield.ai, not via MCP/CLI, Canvas or Supercomputer. Unlimited use “may be subject to dynamic speed adjustments” at busy times. Basic has no unlimited models. |
| Midjourney | Unlimited video in Relax mode on the Pro and Mega plans | SD resolution only. HD video does not run in Relax. The Standard plan gets unlimited Relax images, not video. |
| Pollo AI | Plan cards label some models “10-Day Unlimited” or “365-Day Unlimited” | The window and the model list depend on the plan. Everything else spends monthly credits. |
| Adobe Firefly | Unlimited generations on selected image and video models for the first year of a paid plan | A limited-time promotion. Higher tiers include more models. After the promotion, generations draw from the plan’s monthly credits. |
| Hailuo | Its terms describe a Max plan with unlimited Relax Mode generation on the Hailuo 01 and 02 models | The terms we found were last updated July 2025. Newer models use credits. We could not load the current plan page, so check it before buying. |
| Runway | Unlimited 4K video upscaling on Pro and Max | Video generation is credit-based on every plan. The old Unlimited plan and its Explore mode no longer appear on the pricing page. |
| Kling | No unlimited generation | Paid plans list “Queue unlimited tasks”. That is a concurrency limit, not free volume, and every generation still spends credits. |
| Pika | No unlimited generation | The Fancy and Enterprise plans get unlimited parallel jobs, but credits are still spent per generation. |
The pattern is consistent. Where “unlimited” covers video, it comes with at least one of these limits: a slower lane, a lower resolution, older or selected models, or an end date. Our longer comparison of billing models, credits vs subscription vs unlimited, covers what to check in any plan. This post sticks to who sells unlimited and why it is shaped the way it is.
Why unlimited video is always throttled
Video generation is expensive to run, and you can see that in the public prices vendors charge developers. Runway’s API documentation prices a credit at $0.01 and charges 12 credits per second for Gen-4.5. A 5-second clip therefore costs $0.60 at Runway’s own API list price. Veo 3.1 with audio is listed at 40 credits per second, so an 8-second clip is $3.20.
Now do the arithmetic for a heavy user. Say someone runs 50 five-second Gen-4.5-class clips a day. Our own calculation from those list prices gives 1,500 clips a month, or about $900 of compute at developer rates. A consumer plan costs a small fraction of that. No vendor can sell that volume at a flat price without limiting it somewhere.
So the limits go where they cost the vendor least:
- Slower queues. Relax and off-peak lanes fill idle GPU time. Your job waits until a server is free, which costs the vendor far less than reserving one for you.
- Lower resolution. Fewer pixels per frame means less compute per clip. That is why Midjourney’s video Relax mode is SD only.
- Selected or older models. An older model or an in-house model is cheaper to run than the newest partner model. Hailuo’s Relax Mode covers its 01 and 02 models, not newer ones.
- Time windows. A 7-day or 10-day window caps total use without a visible meter.
- Dynamic speed. Higgsfield states plainly that unlimited use can slow down when traffic is high.
If your work fits inside the included models and you can wait for the queue, they can be very good value. The mistake is buying one for a model or a resolution that turns out to sit outside the unlimited part.
Free AI video generation: what is actually free
“Free unlimited AI video” does not exist as a standing offer from any platform we checked. What does exist is a small free allowance, a one-off trial, or a daily allowance on a limited model set.
| Platform | What the free tier gives you (checked 19 Oct 2026) |
|---|---|
| Runway | A one-time 125 credits on the free plan. They never expire. |
| Adobe Firefly | Free daily generations across image, video and audio on selected models. The limits refresh every day. |
| Kling | The free Basic plan lists no monthly credits. Daily free credits are listed as a subscriber benefit. |
| Vidu | Its site says all users get a set amount of free credits, and it promotes an Off-Peak Mode. Check the current quota in your account. |
| Higgsfield | No free tier on the pricing page. Higgsfield’s blog describes a 1-day unlimited trial for new users. It needs a card and becomes a paid monthly plan unless you cancel. |
| Pika | The free plan includes 0 monthly credits. You can buy top-up packs without a subscription. |
| VdoBloom | 10 free credits when you sign up, no card. Downloads made with the free credits carry a watermark. |
If you want the most free video, stack the honest options. Use Runway’s one-time credits and Firefly’s daily allowance to learn prompting, then pay only once you know which model your project needs. Watermarks and usage rights on free tiers vary. Our free AI video generators with no watermark guide goes through them.
How VdoBloom prices video instead
VdoBloom does not sell an unlimited plan and does not plan to call anything unlimited. Every generation has a credit price, shown before you confirm it.
- Credits never expire. A one-time pack bought in October is still there in March. The smallest USD pack is 200 credits for $10.39, and no subscription is required.
- You pay per clip, by length and resolution. A 5-second Kling 3.0 standard clip without sound is 28 credits. A 5-second Seedance 2.5 clip is 56 credits at 480p and 126 at 720p.
- There is no relax queue. No job is moved to a slower lane because you have used a lot. Render time depends on the model and its provider.
- Every model spends from one wallet. The same credits work across the video and image models in the picker. Failed generations are refunded automatically.
The honest limit: credits do run out. If you make hundreds of clips a month on one model that an unlimited plan includes, that plan may cost you less. Credits work better when your output comes in bursts or you need a model or resolution an unlimited plan leaves out. The mechanics are covered in AI video credits explained.
Verdict by use case
- High volume on one model, and you can wait: an unlimited plan that names your model, such as Midjourney Pro or Mega for SD video or a Higgsfield window for Kling 3.0.
- You need 1080p, 4K or the newest model: expect to pay per generation everywhere. Unlimited lanes rarely cover top resolution or brand-new models.
- Bursty projects, several models: credits that never expire, so a quiet month costs nothing. That is how VdoBloom works.
- Learning on zero budget: Runway’s one-time free credits, Firefly’s daily generations, and VdoBloom’s 10 sign-up credits for a cheap 480p draft in text-to-video or image-to-video.
- Short promo windows: a 7-day or 10-day unlimited window is good value only if your work is ready to run that week.

FAQ
What is the best unlimited AI video generator?
It depends on which model and resolution you need. For high-volume SD video with a slower queue, Midjourney’s Relax mode on Pro or Mega is the clearest standing offer. For the newest partner models, look at time-limited windows such as Higgsfield’s, and check which models are named.
Is there a free unlimited AI video generator?
Not as a standing offer from the platforms we checked. Free tiers give a fixed or daily allowance, and unlimited trials are short and usually need a card.
Does Runway still have an unlimited plan?
Not on its current pricing page. The only unlimited item listed is 4K video upscaling on Pro and Max. Video generation spends credits on every plan.
Why is my unlimited plan slow?
Unlimited jobs usually run in a lower-priority queue that uses spare GPU time. When traffic is high, that queue slows down. Vendors such as Higgsfield say so in their fine print.
Does VdoBloom offer unlimited video?
No. You pay per clip from credits that never expire, with the price shown before you generate and failed jobs refunded. New accounts get 10 free credits, and packs and plans are on the pricing page.
